We had a nice table for 4 outside. We ordered two of their cheese boards and some local red wine. The cheese board and local red wine was spectacular. There was lots of cheese to eat. We could not eat all the cheese. We should have ordered only one cheese board for the four of us. Service here was very good for us Americans who could barely speak French. Our total bill for both of us was 58 euro. I would return here for another cheese board. See my pics.

I was out alone that night and asked them to keep my drink behind the counter for a bit because I didn't want to leave it unattended for safety reasons while I stepped outside to smoke. When I came back, they couldn't find the drink, so I asked for another one at their expense, since it wasn't my fault they had lost it. Instead of handling the situation like proper human beings, they turned it into a huge problem and argued with me all together, even though I explained the situation multiple times in a reasonable way. At some point I just lost it and started raging, because this kind of service is disgusting. All three of them deserve to be fired immediately, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone as long as these bartenders are still around. I really hope the owner of Shapko sees this review and takes proper action, because uniting against your customers instead of handling things adequately is the worst thing you can do.

I recommend coming here around 10-10:30 before it gets crowded so you can at least get a seat or have some standing room because it gets packed quickly and then security starts only letting people in if there's room. The live music took a while to set up and they really only started playing around 11-ish. By then, it's super fun and everyone gets into it. In terms of drinks - for the love of god, DO NOT order a cocktail. The wine and beer is where it's at. If there is one thing to take away from this review, it is to order the wine or even a beer! There is little cell signal in the venue but somehow, you can get a few bars near the bar. It's open until 3 AM or so if you're looking to stay out late.

Drinks were reasonably priced compared to other spots, and the balcony views overlooking the water were the cherry on top.

Share your bottle with some friends or foes in a nicely decorated venue. Staff is attentive and will give you the service you deserve. Pricing isnt bad either and its a perfect spot to stop by at before continuing into the night elsewhere. They have seats both inside and outside, but outside can be tough during popular days. Didnt get the chance to try their food, but theres always a next time for that, and by the looks it was promising. We'll be back...will you?

We got there quite early after work so we managed to snag a sofa in the back by the window. They served cold water immediately which was a nice touch, as well as some sesame grissini. The two boys being English couldn't resist the fancy fun and tonic in a tea set :) I went for the Herme martini for 10 euro which had raspberry, litchi and rose which I really enjoyed. My other friend had the champagne cocktail with Cointreau and orange. We had a nice time and we will be back. I am curious to see how the menu will evolve and which new creations will show up. I loved having craft cocktails in Singapore and when I go to London so this is really a welcome addition to the scene in Old Nice as craft cocktails are few and far between. Worth trying :)

No beers on draft. They have a fine selection of house crafted cocktails and a great list of whiskeys. The music had a mix of rock from the 60s through contemporary tracks.
