They promised they would grind the floors to make smooth when they applied the epoxy finish. They said they would be smooth after multiple confirmations with them. They did the job on a Friday and came back saturday to do the top layer. We were told to not walk on until Sunday however we did look at them from the steps and they appeared extremely textured and rough. Sunday when time was almost up we sent pictures explaining how unsatisfied with the floor as I could not even walk across in socks without snagging and no way could I mop them. They came back on Monday and put another thicker layer of top coat. We let them dry as told and looked over them it appeared very half-assed. They have streaks and heavy areas and thinner areas. There are clumps of flake they are not smooth at all. There is plastic stuck in the clear coat you cant remove and under the stairway they didn't recoat it and is as rough as originally started. Multiple times it was discussed we wanted smooth and while it was a large area abotu 1575 sq feet total, they assured. Now we cannot get a response to resolve this. They say no matter what they do we won't be happy and that is not the truth. The truth is at 9390 of our hard earned money. They boast on communication and doing the right thing but they will no longer respond and help us fix this. They are supposed to warranty the floors for 4 years and I have nothing showing this other than my estimate for the work and their website. They also did not give us a receipt. They have our cash, we have a piss poor floor that albeit is bareable is not what we were supposed to get and assured of. I would not recommend them if this is how they do business and cannot try to work with the customer to correct. I have all this documented so if anyone is thinking of it. It is not what they appear or seem to be. Bad business.

I am now picking up the issues. Trustin at Midwest said he is not fixing the grout issue given it's been 3 years. I explained John was dealing with it before his passing. Trustin said he was not aware. He looked at the pictures and said the house shifted and caused the grout issues. I hired a tile guy to repair the grout. He discovered the reason for the grout falling was due to Midwest's installers grouting over blue painters tape. Beware of the quality of work from Midwest tile installers and they lack of making it right. Response to Midwest Rug: Thank you for the response. To be perfectly clear the reason for the engineer inspection had zero to do with the tile installers installing grout over the top of blue painters tape. I'm sure my husband did inform someone of the tile issue. I would be more then to chat with an owner of Midwest.

We also had another contractor (in no way associated with liberty) who was to put in cedar walls to complete our remodel. When we went into the showroom to tell them it was the wrong color, we were told it would be another 3 months for the correct one to come in. Our contractor had other jobs that he needed to get to, so it was going to be more than 3 months before he could get back to our site. We did not want to have our bathroom incomplete for that long so felt we had no choice but to accept this color that we did not choose. They did give us a whopping $300.00 off. Mind you, they would have had to spend a LOT more to replace it. The install took over a week! We already had a second bathroom that liberty was supposed to do. When they "completed" it, we found out that they did not include a topper for the shower on this install although they had on the first shower. Of course they could order one for us for yet more money, unfortunately we didn't feel like we had a choice if we wanted it to look right. Although a third of the size this install also took over a week. I had 2 friends who have been over & wanted to get their bathrooms redone. I have told them to go with ANYONE other than liberty. Jacuzzi was maybe a thousand dollars higher, and I really wish we had gone with them or anyone else. Also, the person they have answering the phone (Brenda) is not of any help. She is JUST there to take your money & your calls. She has no helpful information on your install.
