I took my 3yr old daughter for a free tiger tots class, and while it was clear to me that she wasn't quite ready, I'll definitely be taking her back when she's a bit older. She was very excited to do "hi ya do", and had a tantrum because she wanted to go and "play" while we waited for the prior class was finishing up. I took her outside to try to calm her down, and Master Bang came over to us, calmed my daughter down, took her hand and walked my very clingy baby to the floor. No hesitation in her one bit, and she is not one to trust any stranger. I was very impressed with how excited and yet controlled these very little kids were. I only saw excitement and dedication in every child's face. My daughter was the youngest one of that class, this was her first experience in a large group, with rules and routines, she did better than I expected, but had about 3 tantrums in the 30 minute class. And each time, Master Bang, and the rest of the staff, calmed her down and had so much patience and kindness with her. I really felt that they care about their students. I can't say enough good things. On top of that, the area was so clean and well taken care of. I was so impressed!! read more

Our family absolutely LOVES Master Bang's Martial Arts. We have three children enrolled here, and the growth we've seen in them (physically, mentally, and emotionally) has been incredible. The instructors create a perfect balance of discipline, patience, encouragement, and fun. They don't just teach Taekwondo... they teach respect, confidence, focus, responsibility, and how to carry yourself in and out of the studio. What we appreciate most is how they truly see each child. They learn their personalities, their strengths, and the areas where they need more support. Our kids have become more confident, more kind, more resilient, and more motivated in everything they do. The environment is family-oriented, welcoming, and positive. The instructors lead by example and the kids really respond to that. We always leave class feeling grateful to be part of this community. We can't recommend Master Bang's enough read more

After visiting multiple schools I chose this for my 3.5 year old toddler. Love this place and they way they interact with students in a non intimidating, fun, high energy way. They teach basic forms plus much more : stranger danger, knowing parents phone numbers, flexibility, reflexes, focus, respect. My daughter couldn't really follow the instructions at first( looking back I think she is a little too young and developmentally can't coordinate hands and feet in some fast sequences. The instructors picked up on that and pulled her aside for some one on one. They also focused on her arms rather than making her do everything right. This keeps her confidence and enthusiasm high. Other parents are v supportive and cheer for her which is heartwarming. My daughter had to " earn" her white belt after following some rules. She got to watch other ( older kids) practice before her session. And I love the fact they let some accomplished students ( older kids) become assistants. This allows my daughter to have role models from some one who is not an adult, someone closer to her in age and being girls. I wish the place is bigger. It gets crowded with parents watching. And I wish there were more girls in her little dragon league. Don't hesitate come for the free trial class. I can't wait for her to grow up with that indomitable spirit. read more

My family and I love this place. All of the instructors are friendly, patient with every student , highly attentive and skilled. My son absolutely enjoys coming to Taekwondo. He has improved his confidence and developed skills to defend himself if he should ever need to. All of the instructors show compassion, kindness and encouragement to everyone. The students are taught that they must earn there belts, they just don't get them. The students are taught more than martial arts. They learn to be better listeners, to respect one another and to care for there families. Each student is told that they must be better people in class and at home. Not just in Taekwondo. I highly recommend Tae Ryong Taekwondo. read more

Wonderful taekwondo school! I have taken my daughter to two different taekwondo studios, and let me say that TaeRyong Taekwondo is by far the best! My 9-year-old daughter has been training with TaeRyong for 23 months and has learned so much; she's become independent, responsible, confident, and respectful. My 5-year-old son has been doing taekwondo for a short period of time, but he has already gained so much confidence and responsibility. The instructor's assistants, instructors, masters, and Grandmaster Bang are all great teachers; they all care for their students and want them to succeed. The studio rules and home rules they have all students follow help kids be respectful to their parents, teachers, and elderly, as well as their community. They place great importance on how kids behave outside the taekwondo studio. Overall, this is a great taekwondo school for your children. We love TaeRyong taekwondo very much! read more

I can't speak highly enough about this place. My son has high functioning autism and they had reassured me that it wasn't going to be a problem. Naturally, I was skeptical but the Head Master Bang told me to bring in my son and have him sit down and watch a class, so we did. My son decided he wanted to try it so we signed him up and it has been the best thing we've done since we moved here. ALL of the instructors are so amazing with the kids and their patience with them is saint-like. My son has learned to focus more, be more patient and it has given him more confidence and the strive to earn his next belt. We wound up signing him up for a whole year because he loves it so much and we, as parents, love the fact that he found something that he's so excited about. It's a win-win. read more

My son was enrolled in the toddler taekwando class. He loved the gym, the routine and especially the coaches! My son was a little too young and has so much energy and has a challenge with his attention, but the coaches handled it well! Shout out especially to coach Jared! You are a rockstar in what you do. You do what you do from your heart. My son learned a lot and improved a lot in terms of discipline, focus and being a team player. If there's one thing I would suggest is maybe the schedule, unfortunately it was way too late for my son and for our household. Wish they would have earlier schedule like morning or early afternoon! But overall, it was such a great experience! Will surely enroll again once they have early schedule that suits our household. read more
