Our nephews joined other tae kwon do studios and we have seen how the instructors taught and interacted with their students and there was no structure at all. It was more like a babysitting place. Our neighbors children also have left other studios because they were purging so much money for their tuition and their children didn't learn as much and hardly promoted into the next level of belt. At JK Tae Kwon Do, the masters are amazing and that's because they have the heart to conduct this line of work and teach what they were taught and even better. Our son has become more confident, stronger, respectful and is a great role model to others because of this studio. My spouse and I wanted our son to stop until he got his black belt, but we love this studio so much and have so much respect to the masters that our son will continue to learn tae kwon do and move up in his belt. Beyond Martial Arts is a place for children, teens, and adults to learn martial arts at any level. The instructions are delivered by international level athletes who wish to share their experience and passion of the art with students of all ages. They are patient and considerate of everyone's learning capability and try their best to give the students the necessary attention to grow. The main martial art they teach is the Korean Martial Art of Tae Kwon Do which focuses primarily on kicking with emphasis on speed, accuracy, and flexibility. Children with challenges in focusing or confidence have improved significantly since the beginning of their training. Teenagers have started with challenges in confidence and have been able to grow with the rest of the class and feel like they're a part of a family with the extra activities and events that happen outside of the academy. Adults learn basic self defense techniques while developing flexibility in their hips and legs to help everyday task become easier to do as well as getting in better shape. I can't say good enough things about BMA and Master Reymoore. My 9 yo son has been attending now about 6 months. He has grown so much in that little time. Not only is he growing in confidence, he is also getting stronger, more flexible, and faster. I've witnessed so many kids other than my own over the course of 6 months transform from shy and timid to more assertive and confident. Master Reymoore's approach to kids is perfect. He is very demanding but gentle. He has high expectations but provides the perfect balance of fun and laughter. I'm a teacher in high school and I can attest that Master Reymoore could give lessons to adult teachers on how to interact with children. Master Reymoore loves what he does. It's obvious he loves to share his expertise and knowledge. I'm so happy to have heard about BMA. This place is amazing! Master reymoore and Master Adrey are incredible, they are great with the kids! It's family run and you can tell that from day 1! Since November 2015 it is under new management by Master Reymoore and Master Adrey, two brothers that love Taekwondo as much as you can and put their heart and souls into teaching it to their students. As are all the JK Masters, they are highly skillful and dedicated to their students. They are both high class athletes, compete themselves on a regular basis, and carry titles such as "National Champion". They are also very knowledgeable in training and conditioning for performance, so you will learn the traditional way of Taekwondo and will get in great shape in a healthy environment. I am currently a student at JK Taekwondo. I joined not so long ago and in the short amount that I've been here I already feel very comfortable in this establishment. The masters here are very encouraging and they can help with any problem you have. I feel like I'm in a safe environment when I train here. Besides the training they also teach you to be confident, respectful, how to have discipline, and help us open up. If you're a shy person this is the place for you. They help you come out of your shell. Everything that you talk about here is confidential. If your looking for a place to train or some self defense, come to JK Taekwondo. I am so thankful to God to have found a place like JK Taekwondo. At first, I had to be the one to push my 16 yo son to try the program: he was not open to it. After my son did the four week trial, he was the one who approached me and told me that he was ready to commit to the program. Now I can see my son is flourishing. I can see that his level of confidence is improving. In this program they get to meet other kids their age and interact. What I love the most is that they teach values and principles that I instill on my son, respect, integrity , humility, and so forth, at the same time they learn tae kwondo. Master Reymoore is the best! Beyond Martial Arts is awesome and fun! I am 10 years old, and I was really worried that I wouldn't fit in when I first started six months ago. However, Master Reymoore and the other black belts helped me adapt and feel comfortable. I feel like I have gotten stronger and more physically fit. Before, I couldn't even do a push-up properly. Now, I can do 10 good ones in a row! My self-esteem has also improved greatly. Master Reymoore is funny and truly cares about each and every one of us. Just like in the name of the studio, "Beyond," Master Reymoore always tries to push us beyond our limits in many different ways.
