After talking to him and explaining my time limit and everything, he said he could do it so I hired him on the spot. Ryan was the lead on my project and they were a pleasure to work with. In the end we had a mishap with Lowes and a couple of things that Mike came out and fixed, but in the end we got our beautiful little bathroom remodel, I've referred Damian's info to a few people, and would definitely work with Damian, Ryan, Mike, and again.

I honestly feel a bit bad leaving a 3-star review here because everyone I interacted with at Iron…read moreCastle Construction was genuinely kind, respectful, and responsible. On top of that, the quality of their work is fantastic. Among other great things about their work, they did a beautiful job matching the existing wood molding in our home with the new construction they did on our bathroom. Price-wise, they were right in the middle of the road compared to the other estimates I received. Where things fell short for me was communication. I know contractor-client dynamics can be tricky, but as the project progressed, it became increasingly unclear what the actual timeline or next steps were. The project ran longer than the original estimate, and I was never given updated, reliable estimates for completion. (Part of this was due to scheduling inspectors which had nothing to do with Iron Castle, but even factoring in the inspection wait time, the project went beyond the initial estimate.) Toward the end, communication broke down and workers would show up on days without prior notice, even after I explicitly asked to be kept in the loop on scheduling. That was stressful because we had our work to take care of. Big picture: Iron Castle does high-quality, beautiful work, and they are good people. But while I love the finished product, the process of getting there was not what I would have expected.

From inspiration photo to finished product, Iron Castle turned our lackluster, sagging brick porch into a wide, welcoming, beautiful entry. Unfortunately, he did not fulfill what we agreed on. I paid over $12,000, and the work was left incomplete. The units were not rent-ready, debris and trash were left throughout the property, and key items we discussed were never finished. The photos I attached show only part of the condition he left the property in. After receiving payment, Larry stopped responding and ultimately blocked me instead of taking accountability or addressing the issues. As a property owner who relied on clear communication and trust, this was extremely disappointing and costly.
