Staff and bartenders were super friendly, and consistently walked around making sure the place was clean. Drink prices were good, but the cost to golf was a little steep. You can pay for either 9, 18, or all 27 hoIes, and you get to choose your 9-hole stretches. I liked how they incorporated pinball, planko, pool, and ball maze into the games, instead of just got traditional putt putt course. And the directions before each hole was cool. Holes are short, so you'll knock out 18 in about 40 minutes.

Some of the holes were fun and tricky yet some were boring and ended with the same outcome for every player. I think playing 18 holes would be repetitive by the end. The music was good and staff was friendly, so we were able to make our own fun out of it but the facilities were not all that impressive. One of the machines for one of the holes was broken as well which was disappointing, it stole our balls and happened for multiple groups in front of us as well. Cheap drinks were good though.

My sister and I wanted to take our cousin somewhere nice and different for celebratory drinks. My sister suggested that we try Farside as she had been once before and had met the owner Eddy through friends. Farside is a small bar located down Parnell Road between Renkon and Burgerfuel. If you are looking at a map, it is quite hard to spot and most of the time, you will walk straight past it! We only went for drinks, but they were all delicious! Farside has an extensive cocktail list, which my cousin and I happily chose from! All the cocktails had cool names and interesting flavours, which is something you would not find in a bar/club in town! Overall, the best drinks we had were a Margarita with a salt rim and a Cosmopolitan with a sugar rim (see pictures) - both were yummy! The décor was nice and the music interesting, which we all liked. Farside plays all sorts of music, so it is great for everybody! It had a cool vibe to it all night - we even had a boogie in the corner when Queen came on! Farside also serves a range of bar snacks including cheese and cold meat platters with vegetarian options as well, which would be great to share with a group of friends - and a few of their amazing cocktails as well!

Located above the Glengarry's on Dominion Road, Bar Eden is a locally renowned sports bar and pool hall. My sister has been meeting her friends there most weekends since she turned 18, and I can see why. Though not a very flash joint, Bar Eden is a really relaxed place to meet up with groups of friends and have some fun playing pool. As with most pool and sports bars, Bar Eden is a bit seedy, but when you get to know the staff (and the regulars) everyone is actually really nice and it can be a really good time. Bar Eden have both big and small pool ball tables, depending on your experience level as well as shuffleboard tables, TVs to watch the game on and a full bar. They play anything that Sky Sport is playing, and are happy to change to whatever you'd prefer, as there are plenty of TV's around to show different games. There's also a free jukebox, so its a good place to just go on a weeknight and play some pool with your friends.

This is a shame in my opinion, as the bar has two big screen televisions playing live sky sport, as well as a karaoke screen on which they often play (quite hillarious) nineties/early 2000's videos. They also offer pool and darts, and have a jenga set behind the counter. The decor is the highlight of Winner's bar - a wall completely covered with beer bottles - an installation that is continued all the way through to the bathroom. The beers are priced just right - ranging from 4 dollars to 6 dollars, and they have daily specials on cocktails, and aren't too light on the pour.
