Jenn is clearly an expert. Her deep knowledge and focused massage relieved the intense knots in my shoulders, neck, and upper back, improved my neck's range of motion, and made the pain surprisingly manageable; although I felt sore afterward, I also felt noticeably better and plan to return in three weeks to continue working through the remaining tension with Jenn. read more

Massage Therapy Connections is the place to go because the atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing. The front desk lady was very polite and helped with any questions I had. My masseuse, Viktoria, was great and explained what she was doing and the benefits it had and her work was fantastic! I would definitely schedule with her again in the future!! read more

I have been going to Victoria for a few months now. She can always find my problem spots. I told her she has magic hands. I always feel so amazing and relaxed. She is so caring and professional. I would recommend her to anyone that needs a good deep tissue massage. read more

This is a great business with skilled practitioners. Ms Jing McClure provides me with outstanding massage therapy. Prices are competitive and the environment is soothing. Highly recommend. read more

Great massage with Lynn. My first time there and I really enjoyed the peaceful environment and customer centered approach to the massage.

This was my first massage and Mary explained everything so thoroughly and made my first experience exceptional. I highly recommend!

What a great experience! From the scheduling, to the greeting, to the massage itself. I scheduled a massage for myself and my mother and they worked very hard in order to have us at the same time for our convenience. Everyone was friendly and courteous. Erica was fantastic as my therapist! They truly care about your health. Highly recommend! read more

Kiel is by far the best massage therapist I've ever had. His level of experience and commitment to his clients health is admirable. It's a relaxing, clean and welcoming environment too. read more

David is so incredibly thoughtful and thorough about how he goes about giving a massage. He changed what I requested to a focus massage based on my history, as that would suit my needs better. He gives the most amazing massages! I went in with quite a a bit of discomfort. He found ever single spot that was out of balance. I now feel better than I have in weeks! read more

December 31, 2021 I sent an email to this company and on January 13, 2022 I called and left a message for a return call. No one returned my call so therefore I reached out to them again. They told me that they do not check their emails on a regular basis and did not know that I left a voicemail. Very very discouraging and personally would not recommend going to them. I needed to schedule Lymphatic massages and was then told that they are booked two months out. They apologized for not reviewing their emails and not listening to their voicemail. This was very important for me per my doctors advice and will be calling another facility that answers my concerns. read more

This 2 star review is related to the Covid practices of this business. My husband had a massage a couple of weeks ago. His therapist was not wearing a mask throughout the hour. 2 days later, he had symptoms. He was fully vaccinated, but went for a Covid test a few days later, it was positive. We called the business and reported this. No one called us back. I called the other day to ask about their Covid protocols and was told masks and vaccines are suggested for their therapists, but NOT mandated! We don't know if anyone there has tested positive for the virus. They were highly recommended by our chiropractor and from other reviews customers are very pleased. I don't like giving negative reviews, but this is an important issue. Since the words "Medical Spa" appear on their site, and they are a privately owned business, they can indeed mandate vaccines and masks. Massage therapists cannot social distance. We can't be sure he contracted the virus there, but I wanted to put this out there for those who care about these practices (although we all should.) These are stressful times, and businesses need to do whatever they can to keep both their employees and customers safe. read more

Massage Therapy Connections is THE BEST!! I sent a message to them back in 2014 asking who they would recommend for a deep tissue massage, The answer was professional and prompt. I was not in the area yet,but remembered the email...fast forward to 2017. I live here full time, pulled up the message and tried the therapist that was recommended. I was VERY happy, although the therapist has retired, I have found other excellent therapists. I have been seen by Sally and Shea (one of the owners) and now have Misa....OMG!! FABULOUS!! My daughter has been there and I bring my 86 year old mother to Melissa...she is SO patient. Donna, the front desk person is very personable..starts your session off on a good vibe! The Monthly Specials,Protege pricing, first time pricing...all make for a great,no pressure experience. No contracts here...love that! Thank you Shea and Nancy for such a wonderful concept!! Peace and Blessings to you all! read more

Been receiving weekly Medical Massages as part of my recovery from rotator cuff repair, MUA and capsular release surgery for 6 weeks now. It has been amazing!!! I know that I would not be as far along in my recovery with PT alone ...Medical Massage has truly been a game changer!!! Highly recommend Shea!!! read more

It is a little tough to find as it is tucked back in an office complex, but it was a great experience. The waiting room is average as well as the massage rooms-rather out-dated. But that's ok. The massage was great and she was very professional. However, she did talk a bit too much to me during the massage which was a little off putting. They have great hours and are open late most nights which is not always easy to find. If you can find a deal (Groupon, Living Social, etc) definitely check it out. read more

This is the best massage place in the area. Erica and Jing were great!! Definitely recommend them.

My therapist was very nice & did a good deep tissue massage but with her lack of knowledge about how to treat sciatica, my pain has been exacerbated for almost 3 weeks now since the massage. I now have to go see a professional about the persistant inflammation of my sciatica nerve. read more

Donna at the front desk was very welcoming which I appreciated since it was my first visit. My masseuse Lisa did a great job and the overall peacefulness of the spa made it a very nice appointment. Sometimes, conversations outside the massage room can really disrupt the experience. Has happened at other spas. Can't wait for the next appt. read more

My massage was in February. I am a regular to massage, and am used to the amenities that come with it. It's true the front office was run down, there was no feeling of entering into a special spa-like experience. The décor didn't reflect serenity or that special quality of most spas. My therapist was Misa. No special welcome, no glass of water after the massage. The massage itself was perfunctory , and not as sensitive as it could have been. If you are visiting this area on vacation, and are looking for good professional spa-like massage experience, I would suggest another business. read more

Hannah was my therapist and she walked me through the process before starting my 1 hour session. Hannah asked if I was allergic to anything from essential oils to what type of music I'd prefer and how I like my heated blanket and if there is any area that I am ticklish or not wanting to be touched. Smallest details make such a big difference during my session thanks to her impeccable attentiveness. I recommend Hannah and her staff highly to all future clients. Thanks Hannah for making my vacation even more comfortable and relaxing with your hot stones massage. read more

Over the years I have had massages in multiple places locally and in other parts of the country. Massage Therapy Connections is the best place for massage therapy of every kind. The decor and feel of the place are excellent. I really wonder about any review that says otherwise, (perhaps the competition?) And I don't know what individual decor style differences have to do with the quality a massage anyway! I've received perfect, memorable massages from Nancy, Misa, and Sally; also facials by Nancy - wonderful! After a serious back injury, Nancy worked a miracle in easing the chronic pain and helping with mobility. Shea treated my TMJ and the improvement has lasted for months so far. I love the Zen atmosphere, the kind, caring practitioners, and the truly remarkable results. No wonder they're repeatedly the winners of the People's Choice Award! Not the cheapest, but worth every cent... Priceless!!! read more

I've seen Karen twice and I have two more appointments on the calendar. I have a combo massage/stretching 2-hour session every two weeks. When I leave a session I feel absolutely wonderful. You're missing out if you don't let this LMT get her hands on you. Bobby E. 08/15/2018 read more

I was in much discomfort today from existing back issues. They took me in on short notice, mind you this is Saturday. Cory focused in on the problem and I walked out of there feeling immensely better. I will definitely be returning. Thank you. read more

Shea is the best therapist ever. You have to try her deep tissue message. Also you should try her stretching.. I know messages are great and relaxing but Shea's stretch therapy really gets deep into the muscle. Just tell her how you feel and what hurts and she can customize the session. I have been going to her for over a year and would not consider anyone else. read more

We had a hard time finding this place at night since the parking lot seemed dark to us and it felt like there were lots of little offices. On entering, it smelled strongly like bengay to me. The ladies were friendly. The waiting area is a bit run down in my opinion. Next I used the bathroom, which seemed fine. Then I went to my massage room. I didn't like the decor at all. It looked like a grandma's house with a quilt on the massage table. I found it unrelaxing. I think it should have been more spa/luxury like with everything natural colors (white, tan, sage green). I got the Swedish massage and foot scrub. It was ok. I didn't feel that good afterwards to be worth the money. I also didn't care for the scented oil. It also smelled like bengay to me. read more

This place was recommended by my sister and boy was she right!!!! Nancy and Shay are awesome and extremely kind. They will really work around your schedule. This place was so relaxing and clean. Always have a good massage, but the walls are not sound proof and the other people in the office talk very, very loud. It's definitely not a quiet spa-like experience. If that's not important, we've had great massages each time. read more

I researched massage therapy since I am new to the area. Reviewed several businesses and likes everything I read about massage therapy connections. I called for an appointment. The receptionist Was very informative, answered all my questions then asked me several questions. I had an appointment within 2 days with Lisa. I had my massage yesterday it was wonderful. I had deep tissue massage, I received a reduced rate for my first visit, and received a wonderful massage. Lisa found all my trigger points worked on the areas I was sore and was excellent. I felt so good when u left. I rebooked 2 more massages every 2 weeks to get back to feeling good after our move to Lakewood Ranch. I am so pleased with Lisa, and so happy to have found such a clean, relaxing, & friendly business.
