I've had several disappointing massage experiences in Tampa Bay and found this business on Google. I went to them because I did have a positive experience at sunshine foot spa off S. Dale Mabry in Tampa and was trying to check out a similar concept in the Bradenton area. I called them and asked for appointment availability and not much information was required of me, just an agreement that I would show up and the person on the line said they had my phone number and that's all they required, not even my name was asked. But, I went ahead and gave them my name to prevent any confusion on arrival. I picked the 90 minutes foot and body work treatment and noticed how methodical the therapist was in her approach. I could sense how she worked the areas according to how she sensed stiffness, knots, problem spots, etc. Afterwards I did feel quite tender as the problem areas were addressed and it's like you feel those parts of your body "awake" in a sense that you know you'll have to be back to continue having those areas worked on for more thorough relief. My first experience even makes me want to make it back on a monthly basis. Unfortunately, I was informed that they never run specials with discounted pricing. It would be nice if the business offered some sort of perks or rewards to repeat customers. Many businesses nowadays allow you to input your phone number in their point of sale system and track your patronage in order to reward customers. Hopefully the business owners consider this since I noticed they pay attention to Yelp reviews. Here's to hoping for consistently good experiences in the future! read more

Ok I've been to many spas. I wanted a deep tissue and I got one. There is def no bells and whistles here , but you get what you pay for. If you want to be manhandled by a very strong Asian , this is the place for you. I communicated the entire time. If you want more or less pressure just let her know. I am an immigrant , so I don't knock that. It's just nice to be able to communicate. No asking anything as you walk in. Just get on the rough table. She actually left three times during our session. Once , to roll up her car windows. She came back with wet hands. I told her to wipe her hands before she resumed her work. I would say I probably got 10 less of my time. Today is the second day and I feel like I've been beat up by a hockey player. Live and learn. read more

I just visited this establishment after a disappointing massage back in August, and unfortunately a repeat today. Unbeknownst to me, the owner/ therapists changed back in July. I had the same therapist in August, than I had today, and sadly, I will not be going back. The massage has the potential to be great and actually therapeutic if the therapist was focusing on what she was doing instead of her phone. Yes, her phone! It was evident she was not into what she was doing when the massage was a single-handed, repetitve stroke that would lose its speed depending on what she was focusing on. Some areas of the body were not attended to, or nearly as much, on one side vs. the other. Icing on the cake: her cell phone vibrating ON the massage table. This is simply unacceptable in any customer-facing role, especially one that requires someone to pay attention to what they're doing. During a 90 min session, I would say 30 min were spent giving a proper massage with both hands and techniques differing than mindless strokes. To the new owner of this establishment: please have your employees be respectful of your clients during their session. I turn my phone off to relax, I don't want my therapist to bring hers in, let alone text and scroll through social media! read more

There are three massages therapists, and I had "Elsa" (her real name, as on her license, is a Chinese name, and she and the others, "Tina" and "Wally," have taken English names for our convenience). She does not mess around with any pretenses or fancy names for what she does, which I can only describe as amazing! And do not skip the foot reflexology, which, by the way, started with a magnificent head massage while my feet were warming in water. I am just at a loss to say how much better I felt afterwards, except that I immediate scheduled my husband, and made another appointment for myself. Not worth the hour or money wasted. First off I scheduled a 90 min massage and due to an accident I was running a little late. I asked if that would be a problem and she said no problem we will see you then. After I get undressed and wait in the room for about 10 mins she comes in and says we can only do 1 hour and I oblige because I was late getting there. After the massage begins, I ask for more pressure in my problematic neck and shoulder area as I scheduled a 90 min deep tissue massage. She sighs and says that she can try but all she does is work, work, work. She then offers to walk on me with her body weight. I agree to let her try that and it was extremely painful and not relaxing or pain relieving whatsoever. She then finishes with a regular very light massage barely touching the surface of my skin for the remaining time. I just chalk it up as ok it's not the best and Just glad that she couldn't accommodate me for a longer massage after realizing it wasn't good at all. I go to the front to pay with my credit card and ask if I can tip on the card, she asked how much tip for $70 (+$2 credit card) fee massage? I respond with $15 (as I sat there thinking it wasn't great and $15 is more than 20% so I felt it was fair) she responds people usually tip $20 for 1 hour. I was appalled that she was rude enough to say that to me after all that. I will never ever step foot in this place again. I don't know how they stay in business! read more

You can have a private full body massage or they offer dual side by side foot massages that in our opinion rank higher than some of the Sarasota foot massage locations that have been around much longer. If you're looking at coming here, do it. No, they can't speak English very well but the massage was amazing. I was in so much pain and I have a chronic pain condition in my shoulders and wrists and not many people get it right but she did. I think it's because she was trained in China. She understood how the body was synchronized and connected and she got all those meridians and connectors. She was breathing hard and sweating, I think she was working pretty hard. She also did hot towel and stones. She was GOOD at what she did. Furthermore, she gave my grandparents a comfortable room to wait in and put out water and candy for them. What a treat it was to find this place! I had a 90 minute combo foot relax and deep tissue body massage and I would like to repeat that on a regular basis. Lynn was my masseuse, and she was perfect. My first time getting the foot part, as my feet are very ticklish, but Lynn applied just the right amount of pressure and I melted into the lounge chair. She took me to a different room for the table massage and immediately went to work on the spots giving me trouble. I like a deep pressure on my massages and am usually left a little short, but Lynn applied just enough pressure to get under my knotted muscles without leaving me feeling beat up. Staff was professional and super-nice, great environment in the shop, and the massage was the best that I've had in a very long time - I am already looking forward to my next visit.
