As this is the time of Covid, I wholeheartedly agreed. Well now Katy is keeping my money! Even though she cancelled on me! I'm honestly shocked she thinks this is appropriate. I'm going to file a claim with my credit card, but she fully 100% stands by the idea that she is keeping my money. She won't even refund the tip I prepaid. UPDATE: Katy your insistence to keep my money is appalling. Your cancellation policy is wording in a way that leads your customers to believe if THEY cancel they will be out the fees not if YOU cancel. Do you honestly feel good about cancelling a massage because you were sick then keeping that person's money? Even the tip that was pre-paid? For services you didn't complete? Consumers have rights and you can't decide your policy is to take those away. Consumer law does trump your desire to keep the money. Seems really short sighted on your end to keep money that you didn't work for (which will then be charged back by the credit card company) and in the meantime you have lost 2 customers (myself and my husband) and gained a lot of bad will.
