Cannot return or get credit for a skin product that was recommended to me. 50 $!! It does not fit my skin type and gives a red rash to boot! No sign or notice that skin products were not returnable/echangeable any where in the front area where they were sold. When I asked the manager why a nonreturn notice was not visible,she replied that she would start to tell people the skin care products were not returnable. REALLY? Start to tell??? I am very pleased with the Fort Collins Massage Envy. Some people complain about thing they should have asked questions about prior and I do not feel that is a fair way to review a company. This Massage Envy was inviting upon walking in. The front desk was cheerful and happy to answer any and all questions about my first appointment and about membership. They shared an awesome promotion that is going on right now that offeers 12 upgrades until the end of 2026 and even a free massage in the month of August. You can now do a 3 month membership instead of the 12 month commitment that was common with ME years past. They have a variety of massage therapists to address different clients needs. I prefer deep tissue and I found a therapist versed in that. Others might want simple swedish / stress relief massage and if you ask you can find the best therapist for you. Their massage tables are all hydrolic and this is wonderful for the therapists as they can quickly change the height of the bed during the massage as needed and this makes for a better work environment for the therapist. They offer tea in the lobby entrance and also offer skin care to purchase if you like after receiving a skin care treatment from an Esthetician. Overall I think the price for a 60 minute and 90 minute massage is completely fair. The owners are doing a great job and I find zero fault and all positive with this location! If you don't want a membership program, don't go. If you want a membership program that can be short term and then month to month - I suggest giving it a try. After years of having appointments canceled at the last minute with no way to rebook in a timeslot that worked for me, I finally gave up on my attempts to have consistent massage therapy and canceled my membership. I had credit enough for two visits that I needed to use before they expired. I scheduled one massage and a facial. After the facial I was then told I had to pay full price for it. Turns out the credits I had on file we're not enough to pay for the service. I have been misled, manipulated, and disrespected at this business more than I have ever experienced at other Massage Envy branch. Great therapists, but the business aspects are horrible. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A CONTRACT! I had a massage at this location in September, and it was lovely, so I happily signed up for a membership. I have a very busy job and prefer hot stone massages (which are only available with 90 minute sessions here). Because of that, I booked my appointments several weeks in advance. In the 5 months I've had the membership, they have cancelled my appointments a few days out not once, not twice, but three times! None of these were emergency situations. With my work schedule, I'm not able to easily rebook...and for the most recent one, there isn't another appointment available with my preferred provider for the full month they have open for scheduling. The first time was no big deal; life happens, The second time, I called and explained the impact; I was assured that my future appointments would be honored as scheduled. The third time I was fed up, so I asked to speak to a manger to cancel. After waiting 4 days for a call back, I was told they don't allow cancellation- no matter how bad your experience is- without proof of a move or a doctor's note. Looks like I will be paying for a membership here while having to find another massage provider that I can count on. I would recommend avoiding any and all memberships. read more

I just learned from someone who used to work there that that was the plan. Give the popular massage therapists to a nonmember to convince them to join. I learned from another therapist that they don't see their clients regularly, which seems to confirm the other therapist's views. Bottom line - BE CAREFUL signing up for a membership! I wish I could give 0 stars. And it's a shame because the massage therapists are wonderful. I was a customer for almost 10 years. The incompetence of the office staff (Cloudy) and inability to provide proper accounting caused termination of my membership. In present value, I paid about $20,000 in membership fees and tips over the life of my membership (that's a whole lot of massages), and they couldn't even give me a simple accounting of charges and credits for the last year. Poor business practices that should preclude any positive recommendation. And even after providing written notice two months in advance of cancelling my membership, they kept charging the monthly fee after termination and I had to file disputes with my credit card company to get improper charges refunded. If you're thinking of getting a massage here, DON"T. Not only do they not return phone calls for a minimum of 48 hours, they are so booked you can't get in to redeem your accrued massages. Then they either lose the therapist, or cancel your 2 months in advance scheduled massage for a number of reasons 50% of the time. Then you want to put your membership on hold to catch up? Pay a monthly fee to do so. Horrible customer service and a rip off. After doing the paperwork and finding out what my spots were that I really needed the therapist to work on that didn't even happen. Ok, let me first start off my saying that Lexi is the BEST massage therapist EVER! I always book with her and she never disappoints. However, like other reviews have mentioned...you pay $60 if not more for about a 45 ish minute massage....ridiculous. They try to get you by saying it's a 60 minute massage. Don't be fooled. Now, onto the real shame of this business model. I froze my account due to COVID-19 and the shutdown and they STILL charged me for May and June even though I filled out a form and sent it into the manager dated for April to begin the freeze. Then, come to find out they are going to tack on the extra 6 months of "freeze" time I'm using, because of the pandemic mind you, onto my 12 month contract. Yep, as someone mentioned before this company is a money scam. I'm not surprised this corporation would continue to take money from its customers in the middle of a pandemic. All I want is to cancel my membership because I don't feel safe going to get a massage right now but they won't let me. Do yourself a favor, skip this place, support local massage therapists. Be careful. If you get a membership (2014) and decide to cancel (2023) they will not let you. The only ways you can cancel is to talk to management who won't call you back. I have been waiting for 10 days now and have called multiple times and they will not call me back. i rarely get facials done. i had a gift card from my fiancé so i went to the foco location and a gentleman performed my facial. i was 15 min early to my appt, and he was 10 min late to take me back. i thought he would compensate me some time for them running late but not only did he not do that, he also stopped 5 minutes short of the 60 min facial time. he felt rushed the whole time. it was so NOT enjoyable. will not return. not to mention, very pricy here for poor services. read more

I 100% Do Not recommend getting a membership here. I have been a member for several years and have had multiple bad experiences with management, massage therapists, and front desk employees. I have wanted to cancel my membership many times but management makes it nearly impossible to cancel once you have accrued monthly massages. Any unused massage credit gets forfeited. Now, we've already paid for them and want to use them not lose them, so you now have to pay a monthly fee to use the massages you've already paid for. They will transfer ONE massage to another person but that too comes with a fee. It's absolutely ridiculous that they are unable to work with me. Again, I have been a member a long time, I am being forced to "throw away" 6.5 hours of massage accrued since I'm tired of paying monthly. Management has been rude and refuses to help at all. I've had only mediocre experiences from therapist and frankly it sucks to lose out on already paid for massage hours but it's just not worth it to go here. I live in Fort Collins love Foot Soak spa; I'll 100% go here- in fact they are so lovely they stopped deducting from my account when they noticed I had accrued a few. No fees, no monthly bill. Just let me use them up then start paying again monthly! That's a policy I can get behind- not to mention the spa is beautiful and the therapist here are exceptional. Having been a member of Massage Envy Thornton for years, I've been very disappointed with this location in Fort Collins. They continue to (4 times in a row now) cancel both my and my fiancé's appointments same day; they once didn't even tell my fiancé they had cancelled and just let him sit in the lobby for 20 minutes before anyone mentioned anything to him about the appointment. Obviously, we are understanding of any Covid-related precautions, but this Massage Envy location makes no effort to rectify this (seemingly ongoing) situation. If we were to cancel last-minute, we'd be expected to pay some sort of fee. We can't depend on our appointments being honored here, and when we ask to speak to a manager, we are always told there is no manager working that day. We are choosing to walk away from 10+ pre-paid, non-refundable (I've asked...) massages on each of our accounts to go somewhere else where we can actually get what we pay for! read more

I was a member for a year and after my contract was up, I cancelled the auto-renew schedule they put people on. I still had two credits remaining, so I scheduled two final appointments to redeem those credits. IMMEDIATELY they cancelled my appointments, sometimes without informing me. I found out they were cancelled when I showed up for a massage and they said I wasn't on the schedule. They have been unwilling to refund my money or allow me to use what I paid for. Up until now I've only written bad reviews (my bad, I'm a stoic ... but with heart, which is why I'll write a positive review this time) Nice experience. I used my initiation discount on my visit last week. Paid for a 90 minute message for under $60 (I'm a good tipper so I added 23 percent). Why not 25% you ask? The massage was only 75 minutes and I felt somewhat cheated. However, the massage rocked! Paul was sensitive, right on target, asked the right questions at the right times, and never over performed. I was given a form to fill out before the massage which gave the therapist all the info he(she) needed. I was asked if I wanted to sign up for a series of treatments, but was never pushed. I would have, but I'm currently unemployed so didn't feel I could commit to a "contract". It's a great deal though. I totally recommend ME if you like massage or massage therapy. Although there is one massage therapist I like... the customer service is absolutely a joke and I will be cancelling my membership. For the SECOND TIME, staff at Massage Envy cancelled my appointment for some unknown reason. The first time, they called to confirm the day prior... and when I showed up the receptionist said I had no massage scheduled. So someone cancelled my appointment in between the reminder call and the appointment. The second time, I actually called them the night prior to my appointment, because I hadn't received my reminder call and thought that was strange. The receptionist I spoke with (who had zero customer service skills) said I did not have any scheduled appointments. Brittney, the person who checked me out prior AND scheduled my following appointment, must have screwed up. Since I have been a member I have overlooked other customer service issues (like always starting the massages late and ending them early... never getting the full amount of time), but I am done. Loved this place! I'm from out of state, and went to visit my sick son in college. While he was in class I made a couple of visits to this Massage Envy. It was A great experience from start to finish. I understand it's under new ownership so I would disregard the old reviews. The front desk was personable and professional and if you're looking for a great facial this is the place to go. As for Massage, everybody likes something different so I would suggest getting recommendations and trying different therapists until you find one that is Great for you. Definitely worth a go.
