I booked a hot stone massage and didn't get hot stones. But the massage I received was good. Afterwards, her personality did a 180 and she rudely CONFRONTED me about my weight. I had recently lost 90 pounds from weightloss surgery and she said to me "if you had ACTUALLY done your research, you would know xyz." It was so bizarre! She was so hostile and confrontational for absolutely no reason at all. She actually said the words "if you had ACTUALLY done your research" like I was some kind of moron. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she was coming from a place of concern, but her delivery wasn't as kind as she may have intended. I'm thinking, "Okay just give her her tip and get out of here." Then she tells me my total. I said "Oh, when I booked online, I entered the gift certificate code I'm using." She looked at me with annoyed, raised eyebrows and with a snotty tone said, "I don't know you have a gift certificate unless you TELL ME." She might as well have said "you idiot," the way she was speaking to me. I pulled it out of my purse and she continued to carry on about "people not READING" the fine print on the website. (But seriously, when you book, there's a place to enter a gift certificate code!) I don't know why, but I still gave her a tip, turned around and left as fast as I could. Couldn't get out of there fast enough. I took the afternoon off of work to get a relaxing massage, and ended up not getting the massage I booked, being chastised for my weight, being called stupid (because, according to her, I hadn't "actually done my research") and bullied for not telling her I had a gift certificate, even though I entered it online when I booked. I definitely do not recommend this place and would very much caution anyone considering her services. And looking at her other responses to negative feedback on Google and Yelp, I'm fully expecting more of the same from her in response to my review. I do wish her peace and healing from whatever is going on inside her to treat customers, but more importantly, human beings, this way.
