I also really appreciated that he gave me almost the full time even though the massage didn't start on time bc I got there right when the massage started (as you know it takes some time to get called, paper work, undressed etc). He checked in with me throughout and increased pressure as I asked. The place is clean and comfortable. I don't know how to describe what I'm looking for in massage place but this massage place seemed to check out. Clean, reasonable prices, the therapists looked professional. My dad was so nice to treat me to a massage but our regular place at meta physica in Detroit was booked out. I was trying my best to find a similar place with no luck then I found kneaded relief.

Every appointment I have had was on time and I left feeling sufficiently relaxed. I've had a massage from about four of the technicians here and all have been very effective. Vanessa has to be my favorite as she gives a great service and provides aftercare advice that is similar to what my physical therapist has told me. This is a cozy, clean, welcoming, and affordable place to unwind and I will be back many more times.

I was impressed with all the positive reviews of Spaland and the fact a therapist would come to my home since I am now homebound and that they specialize in taking care of seniors with the unique problems that come with age. My legs were stiff as boards and I was hoping that someone could help alleviate the constant ache. Brandy is the therapist that came to my home and she put me at ease right away and was very attentive to what I had to say. If the first massage I received years back was hell, the one she gave me was simply heaven! After she was done, my legs were supple and ache-free! I had to book another session with her right away! Brandy and her magic hands are simply the best!

In the past two months my appointments were cancelled five times (once at the Dearborn location and…read morefour times at the Allen Park location)! There are two massage therapists I prefer however I have to book them weeks in advance because they're not available very often. The only way to get an appointment within a week or two is to "settle" for the "any female therapist" option... which means it's anyone's guess as to what type of massage you'll get. I chose this option for the Dearborn location and was "tortured" for an hour by Pamela who ground her pointy elbows into my back and practically pulled me off the table with some ridiculous contortionist stretch... which is why I started going to Allen Park!

I'll admit, Advanced Holistic Health doesn't look like much from outside, but the interior was very nice. Not pretentious or super-upscale. This is the every-person's massage place. There's even a vinyl record player in the waiting room to ensure a jazzy waiting experience. They have several dedicated massage rooms and a large yoga area as well. The massage room was a nice size, not claustrophobic like some salons tend to be. The room temperature was a little cooler than I'd like, but the massage bed did have a heating pad that helped, and of course I was covered most of the time. Ashley performed my massage. She did a great job and understood exactly what I wanted and focused on those areas the most. She was totally understanding when I said I wasn't a talker! I'm all about falling asleep on the table. A Swedish massage is lot of rubbing, versus deep-kneading, but it was really calming. She identified some problem areas in my shoulder and gave advice on how to avoid them in the future. They offer monthly subscriptions for only $39/month for a Swedish massage. I'm thinking about signing up! I enjoyed my massage and would definitely recommend them to anyone.
