Every appointment I have had was on time and I left feeling sufficiently relaxed. I've had a massage from about four of the technicians here and all have been very effective. Vanessa has to be my favorite as she gives a great service and provides aftercare advice that is similar to what my physical therapist has told me. I'll admit, Advanced Holistic Health doesn't look like much from outside, but the interior was very nice. Not pretentious or super-upscale. This is the every-person's massage place. There's even a vinyl record player in the waiting room to ensure a jazzy waiting experience. They have several dedicated massage rooms and a large yoga area as well. The massage room was a nice size, not claustrophobic like some salons tend to be. The room temperature was a little cooler than I'd like, but the massage bed did have a heating pad that helped, and of course I was covered most of the time. Ashley performed my massage. She did a great job and understood exactly what I wanted and focused on those areas the most. She was totally understanding when I said I wasn't a talker! I'm all about falling asleep on the table. A Swedish massage is lot of rubbing, versus deep-kneading, but it was really calming. She identified some problem areas in my shoulder and gave advice on how to avoid them in the future. They offer monthly subscriptions for only $39/month for a Swedish massage. I'm thinking about signing up! I enjoyed my massage and would definitely recommend them to anyone.
