I hired Fenway Cleaning Services for a move-in deep clean of an empty apartment. Before booking, I…read moreexplained that the kitchen was especially greasy and needed extra attention. I specifically asked that the tops of the cabinet doors be cleaned and was assured that essentially everything that could be cleaned would be cleaned. After the first cleaning, I found grease on cabinet surfaces, dirty floors, and several other missed areas. The company scheduled a re-clean, acknowledging that this was unusual and that the cleaner was "having a bad day." I again pointed out the missed areas, including the tops of the cabinet doors, but the second cleaner arrived without a ladder or step stool and asked if I had one to borrow. Even after the re-clean, many of the same areas remained dirty. The company ultimately issued a full refund, which I appreciate. However, I still spent hours cleaning the apartment myself to the standard I expected from a professional cleaning service using nothing more than basic cleaning supplies that I purchased at Home Depot. I was able to clean every area I had identified as needing additional attention without specialized products or equipment. Given the company's consistently positive reviews, I was honestly in disbelief that this was my experience. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Fenway Cleaning Services for a move-in deep clean.

The first time we hired Alliance Cleaners, they did a fantastic job. Sure, it took forever for the…read moreowner of the company to give us a firm time when he and his crew would come to our home. But when they got here, they scoured the place, going so far as to dust the deepest recesses of the wine rack. That's why I'm motivated to be somewhat generous and give the company one whopping star in my review. Because it was all downhill from there. The next time they came to clean our home, they did a fair job. They dusted, but didn't really clean. Two weeks later, they broke our coffee pot. Two weeks after that, they broke a cabinet in the kitchen, tossed dirty baby bottles in a dishwasher filled with clean dishes, and used a drinking glass in the bathroom to mix a cleaning solution. Now, we could excuse the broken coffee pot and the inconsistent scheduling. But we couldn't get past the close call I had when I went to take my vitamins with what smelled like a glass of bleach. When we contacted the owner of the company to cancel our cleaning arrangement with him and get our house key back, he apologized and scheduled a time when he would return the key. He never came. We arranged another time. He never came. We arranged another time. He never came. In the end, because of Alliance Cleaners we had to buy a new coffee pot, fix the kitchen cabinet, and change all the locks on the house. We hired Alliance based on the recommendations of our neighbors. We don't want anyone to make the same mistake we did.

I was only really expecting them to clean the floors, the kitchen, etc. but they went above and beyond! They cleaned the inside and outside of the windows, deep cleaned the floors, the kitchen and the bathrooms. Our house has never been this clean since I've lived here! 1,000% would recommend again!

What I needed cleaned was 2 bathrooms, kitchen and to dust and mop 3 small bedrooms. 2nd bathroom was untouched, window sills weren't wiped down, the only thing cleaned in the kitchen was the counter tops, and floors (when I specifically asked before I hired them if they'd wipe down all cabinets and shelves). I texted Janaina that I was unhappy with the service which she responded very unprofessionally, calling my home "disgusting", quoting scripture mixed with nonsense and (in short) told me I'm the devil and I'm going to hell. Only giving her 2 starts because she refunded me most of my money but only after calling ME a scammer! Wasn't going to post a review but she kept sending such unnecessary and rude texts that I figured other potential customers should know who they'll be dealing with.
