Dr. Rogers has this calm, open demeanor about her which is much needed when it comes to your child and any thing surgery related - she really gets that. I always feel like "we got this" when we are in her presence. Matter of fact, we feel this way whenever we are at this location as a whole. The staff is really client focused, from minimal wait times, to check ins and last but not least, smiling. Smiling goes a long way in this field and I appreciate that they tapped into that. Dr. Scharf is our well visit doctor but everyone in the practice has been great for sick visits. The nurse's line was also wonderful when my daughter took her first big fall off the couch. (She was fine but first time parent I wasn't sure what to look for if watching for a concussion.) The nurse even called me back a 1/2 hour after we spoke just to check on my daughter and be sure that there weren't any additional concerns. Super appreciated! I never have problems with the receptionists so they must have hired new people since those negative reviews. Their flu shot clinic is great too! Schedule an appointment in advance and in and out in minutes - with paperwork if you need proof for school or daycare. The one negative is I wish I could pay my bills online like I do with every other healthcare provider I have but their payment is check by mail or credit card over the phone.

He always cited up to date research and condensed it in an understandable way. He advised us on medical issues but also child development and just parenting. If you are anywhere near Stoughton I strongly encourage you to make Dr. Betances your child's pediatrician.

But other than brushing aside our worries that our little guy eats less than a mouse, and checking to make sure he still sat in a carseat (DUH), he asked us no other questions and did not talk about anything else with us. After that I thought about changing to another pediatrician in the area. However, when our son got sick with a stomach virus and a high fever soon after, they were great about seeing him on a weekend and Dr. Hom was great at that appointment. He's been in for another appointment since then and saw a woman who's name a I cannot remember; she was great too. Our son is now being followed for anemia, so I don't want to change to another pediatrician in the middle of all this. We have been with South Suburban Pediatrics for almost 5 years. Dr Hom and the nurse practioner , Annette Radzevich , are friendly ,knowledgable and always eager to answer all of my questions. I told the pediatrician who saw us, "She gets like this every time I eat something with milk. I think she might have an allergy." He replied very rudely, "So why don't you stop eating dairy so your daughter won't be in pain," implying that I was a terrible mother. Yesterday, February 5th, my daughter was diagnosed with an allergy to three milk proteins. And I was never a bad mother to her. I always tried to help, but unfortunately I had the misfortune of meeting one of those pediatricians who caused me depression and anxiety after giving birth. He is an idiot. An insensitive person. He treated us with complete ignorance and even pressed hard on my daughter's soft spot. (At the time, I didn't react because I was only 20 days postpartum.) I don't remember his name, but he was a short, dark-haired guy. I hope he is very unhappy, because he made my postpartum period miserable. Once again, an idiot.

Initially the estimate was only 45 min wait - Unable to get an online appointment day of Long waits happen at every urgent care so im not sure how much of this is controllable by the business which is why I only docked 1 star Just set your expectations appropriately and be prepared - lots of snacks and toys for the baby. The urgent care is in a shopping center with lots of parking. There are a number of food options not far away if you decide to get food to make time pass faster.
