I was at Walmart the other day when I watched the bus driver, Richard, completely embarrass and…read moreyell at a resident for running a few minutes behind. Instead of nicely reminding her that she's late and that he would come back and pick her up, he treated her so poorly and in front of several people that were disgusted by his behavior. I then found her wondering the parking lot where she told me that he left her without warning. I transported her back to Tapestry myself where I confronted Richard about how poorly he treated her. Richard became confrontational and began arguing and yelling at me. I've left two voicemails for the executive director, Mr. Gramm, and have not gotten a response. I then messaged the Tapestry Facebook page twice and advised that I was trying to reach a manager regarding Richards disgusting behavior to which they BLOCKED ME ON FACEBOOK. This place clearly has issues. The residents pay good money and this is how they get treated ?!? disgusting. Clearly they also don't take complaints either.

Here for rehab , but it IS a care home and some people do live here ! At least it's a community of its own . . Every apartment regardless is a 2 person room so I guess it could be controversial . But every bed has a nurse call button . Now it's been said that it is hard to deal with but there's ONE toiletry between each apartment. And no bathroom counter . Makes things really difficult . Just gotta take things in and out quickly when performing healthcare .

He was walking with a walker before being there and didn't have to wear diapers or have a catheter. They are ensuring he is not moving or receiving the care he needs to be able to leave the place. His legs have a build-up of dead skin because they aren't bathing him. They are charging $9,765.00 a month and we have one month left of enough money to cover that. It's not for a private room either; it's for half a room. For the price we are paying, he should be getting rehabilitated, but they would rather drain his life savings in five short months without helping him to get on his feet again. It's absolutely terrible. We really wished AGH could have gotten him somewhere in the north hills closer to where we live. We asked the social worker there more than once for help with all of this, and she said she would, but nothing has changed.

My husband was in the rehab section of Paramount of South Hills. He received excellent,…read moreindividualized care. Every member of his team treated him with respect and compassion. The entire staff at Paramount were pleasant and helpful and you can tell that they all enjoy their work and that they truly care about the patients. The nursing staff were excellent! While I hated for my husband to have to be there, the obvious dedication and compassion of the staff made me feel comfortable leaving him in their capable hands. My husband received speech therapy, and, in the short time that he was there, we noticed definite improvements in his speech and comprehension. Occupational therapy and physical therapy also were great--both in the services provided and the advice as to how to adapt his environment and his activities. The facility is very clean, the rooms are spacious, and the dining and lounge areas were comfortable and inviting. My husband enjoyed a variety of foods and was provided with alternatives if he did not want what was on the standard menu. I'm hoping he won't expect that same variety and flexibility now that he's home. If you are in need of a rehabilitation facility, I highly recommend Paramount South Hills.
