I hired Mason Real Estate in June to sell my house and three months later I fired them. In three months, their "handyman" never managed to repair a broken window. At one point, I was told the upstairs carpet reeked of cat urine, and when I complained that they had shown the house for weeks but only only now were telling me this, I was told that they had told me and I had refused to replace the carpet. My new agent says there is nothing wrong with the carpet (which makes sense as no cats ever lived in the house). They never updated me on house showings. When I checked on the house one week, I found a discarded mousetrap on the front porch, and weeds growing three feet high on one side of the house. My impression is they care nothing about your property, or making any suggestions to increase the chances of it being sold. read more
