This was very frustrating as I called several different numbers, and there were only voicemail messages asking me to leave a message which was not helpful.

I reserved the event about two months in advance and they require payment 30 days before day of the event. Seemed like an easy process. When I reserved the event, Marisa walked me through it. We opted for the recreation room since we expected a big party. We were in communication with the staff about table set up and expectations of the center including no alcohol, reduction of plastic products, and rules of the facility. There's plenty of parking around the area and a small parking lot across the street. We had a great event. I set 1.5 hours before and after the event, but we spent more time decorating than cleaning. The kitchen we rented is a warming kitchen meaning we can heat and refrigerate our food but it's not a kitchen for making food, esp raw food. Def something to look into if you want a clean space located in a nice area near Downtown Carlsbad!

The Recreation Hall can hold up to 85 guests. They offered the tables and chairs at no additional cost. The facility was clean and easy to get to, located right off the 5 freeway. Small parking lot, but there is close by street parking available. It is just a few blocks down from all the shopping and cool eateries in Carlsbad Village and the Beach. You have to get permits if you want to serve alcohol. Rental prices seem reasonable with published rates at around $60. They offer discounts if you are a resident or a local non-profit organization. Good place for meetings, or small weddings.

He loves all of the toys that he doesn't normally play with at home. And, I like that there is structure to the class so that he can warm up to the idea of preschool. We do circle time with songs, snack time, play time, arts and crafts and at the end we have circle time again to say goodbye. I feel like he is learning and socializing in a clean environment. Our event room was right across from another event going on (lots of traffic and occasional sound interruptions), and in order to get to the vineyard room, we had to walk through a narrow hallway, which isn't a problem but it seems common that all the parents/guests stand outside to watch their kids in the room, so it is a little awkward. Plenty of parking here, shaded and unshaded. The provided tables and chairs were great! The room was an empty canvas for you to paint the world.
