It's fairly new to Enfield, and before this, our local curry was the Poppadum. Well, we came here, and it is now the top of our list! One thing I like about it is beef curry! It's not something you can get very often in curry houses, but they do an excellent job with it! Their lamb shank is also very tasty. I usually order onion bhajis because they are crisp and delicious, but most of the starters here are great! They will often suggest things that they think you might like or that aren't on the menu, like when I took my parents here for their first ever Indian experience. (They loved it.) If you're looking for curry in Enfield, it really is the place to go!

Well when you're trying to find a place for nine people at 8 pm on a Friday night, sometimes you have to go to the places that you don't remember as being as good as the others. However, I had a pretty amazing meal here. We started with poppadoms (as you do) and their red chutney was out of this world. I've never had anything like it at any other curry house. Amazing! I started with the hot wings, and while they aren't American-style wings (I've been on a wing kick lately), they were incredibly tasty. Spicy and cooked in a tandoori oven. Way to go! My main was the tandoori mix masala, so basically a mix of tandoori meats in a curry sauce. Wonderful! The other half had pepper prawns and he said that it was one of the best curry dishes he's ever had. We had the cheese keema naan (cheese and lamb, why not?) and I really loved it. We'll be back!

I was done for about half way through as had way too many poppadoms, and a starter, but in true LM fashion, when food is this good, I just kept on ploughing through it. It must have been pre cooked, and as it turned out the food tasted like it had been stewed for hours. If you have a thought to spend money here you will get better quality if you simply cut up your hard earned cash

The menu seemed very consistent with most of the other indian restaurants that I go to. I always keep an eye out for something unusual or unique, but not this time. The food itself was amazing. To me it tasted very fresh. It had slightly different spices than I'm used to. I also noticed that the menu was very slightly cheaper than what I'm used to paying which was a bonus really. The menu is extensive and the food is excellent. They cater for all your curry needs whether it's a mild korma or a 'blow the roof off your mouth off' phal. The prices are incredibly reasonable; in fact they have remained the same for the last five years. One of the many joys of eating here is the almost limitless supply of coffee at the end of the meal. You pay for the first cup and the rest is free. There's also a complementary glass of brandy and a plate full of chocolate mints. I would recommend it to anyone.
