But before she even got to the painful spots, my body began to relax, much to my amazement. I needed deep tissue and when one particular spot pulled taunt, I must have hissed or moaned. She checked on me, only for me to encourage her on. She found every tense spot. She even used my muscles to heal me by moving body parts like a Thai massages. She would pick up my leg, encourage me to relax it and manage to ease my tight back muscles by moving my legs around. Same with the arm, head... I'm the one that wants a strong, therapeutic massage rather than the smell-good, relaxing ones, but I got both--heat, aromatherapy, stones and foot care. While the soft touches worked, the deep massage did its thing!! She is fantastic!!

We were able to book a same day appointment. The cost for a 90 minute massage was about $50 USD. The business is located several blocks away from the malecon; about a 20 minute walk. Upon arrival, we meet with MONICA who had the massage room prepared for my wife. The interior was clean, organized, and smelled nice. The masseuse, ALEX, was friendly and professional. My wife indicated the massage was one the best. We highly recommend Serenity Spa for the excellent service and affordable price.

Adding an update to our experience at the Sand Bar…read more Unfortunately this time the captain of our Cruise Ship made a decision to bypass the port after one of the crew members fell into the water as they were trying to tie up the first of the tender boats. Huge swells made it too risky to try to safely transfer a couple of thousand passengers onto the tenders. That being said I contacted The Sand Bar and explained that we weren't going to be able to make it for the before said reason. They do have a 24 hour deadline for cancellation but they were very understanding and refunded our money. Well, let's just say they let us borrow it back for a couple of months because we'll be back in Cabo in February and the Sand Bar is a must go to every time we cruise there. We were very disappointed to miss it this time around because we had hyped it up so much to my son and his friend who are traveling with us. But I really appreciate that they understood the situation and waived the 24 hour rule. Too many businesses these days have forgotten the golden rule of putting the customer first. The Sand Bar remembers it, and when you add the very best massage in Cabo to the equation it's a no brainer if you're looking for a relaxing and memorable massage!!
