Dra. Zara was fantastic! I had two inlays done, from the injections to the chair side care no complaints. Office is clean, to date and very nice views looking over the La Paz marina. As a Registered Dental Hygienist with 35 years experience I recommend Marina Dental. Thank you Dr. Juan & Dra. Zara read more

I arrived to La Paz for a 6 day vacation. On my first day there I began with major tooth pain. I called Dr. Juan Alvarez and immediately felt like this was the best call. He got me in right away and turned out I needed a root canal. I've had a few of these back home and they were not pleasant. His care made me trust him and I had the root canal done. It was the BEST experience ever. I mean it was pain free and done so quickly. I came back home to LA and my dentist confirmed Dr. Alvarez had done an impeccable job. Thank you Marina Dental! You saved my trip! read more

Really liked the care we got here. The office and staff are first rate - comparable to a modern, fancy practice in the States. Would consider this for other dental work, but found the charge was almost as much as the US for teeth cleaning and whitening. Since there was so little cost benefit, we won't go back, but would recommend getting any dental work here if you're in La Paz. read more

Dr. Juan is a terrific dentist. I have visited several dentists while living in the San Jose and La Paz areas and Marina Dental is my clear favorite( the view from the chairs is ridiculous ). From the moment I entered Marina Dental's waterfront facility I was greeted with the latest technology. Everything was literally brand new, featuring wireless/smart tech and appeared impeccably clean. Dr Juan and his professional staff where friendly, knowledgeable and all spoke in perfect English. Every procedure done was explained in detail with several options always offered and subsequently detailed. I felt comfortable and confident in every way. I would and am recommending Marina Dental wholeheartedly. Dr Juan is the dentist you have always sought but never found!! Thanks Dr. Juan for your the terrific work you preformed. I hope others find you soon. read more

This office offers the best dental care me and my family has ever received. Juan Alvarez is a very skilled dentist who took his time to not only explain the recommendations but give us a breadth of dental education and information we needed to make decisions. He is a major expert and even advised us against some expensive work that our son is still too young for that American dentists were keen to get us to spend money on. I completely trust him and his advisement due to his very forthright nature and his willingness to educate us. The team he works with is also amazing. They treat you in Spanish or English and take such good care to ensure patients are comfortable and well taken care of. I have never been this impressed with a dental office before. The office is also really relaxing and beautiful to be in. read more

Have to say it was a very pleasant and professional dental experience with Dr. Zara. I lost a crown flossing and needed to get it re-cemented. Dr. Zara was able to get me worked into the schedule and fixed me right up for a reasonable cost. I would definitely recommend Marina Dental and Dr. Zara read more

I have over 20 years experience working in the dental field in the US. I can say without a doubt Dr. Juan Alvarez and his staff are as good as it gets. State of the art equipment, clean and professional. I am having work done that was way out of my financial reach here in California. I have never been given such a personal and positive dental experience. I highly recommend Dr. Alvarez and his practice. This practice is protected by Apollonia patron Saint of dentistry. And La Paz Mexico is a beautiful peaceful place to enjoy while have dental treatment. read more
