The selection of fabrics is varied and sourced from very good furnishing fabric houses. They do require long lead times though. The carpet ranges to choose from are comprehensive. We were thrilled with the two chaps who fitted the carpets...an absolute pleasure to have working in one's home. The haberdashery section is adequate but not very creative although there are signs that this could be improving. At the moment the small range of quilting fabrics are uninspiring, so too are the cross-stitch kits etc. The shop is probably catering for more mature needle workers.

He completed the work to a high standard and I would not hesitate to recommend him to others. First he replaced a toilet. I then asked for a quote to completely refit a new bathroom suite in the house which he did to a very high standard and for a very reasonable price, he also serviced the boiler and fixed a dimmer switch which had been out of action for a year. No job was too big or too small.

They specialise in flooring: tiles, wood and paint and they have some bathroom and kitchen displays. It's all quite well-to-do and certainly a big step up from Ikea, without the expense of the antique shops nearby. I've heard good things about the customer service, although there's rarely anyone in there when I go past, so it might be a bit embarrassing browsing without wanting anything in particular. Then again, who really window shows for tiles?!

To whom it may concern Mr Slavi Petrov of Splendid SP Ltd advised, designed, supplied and installed…read moreour new kitchen in March 2012. Slavi's courtesy, honesty and professional ability were outstanding throughout the complete project. The project was a large installation and included removing an existing stud-wall and considerable remodelling of the electrics and water supply. Through every stage, from initial design through to installation Slavi communicated what he was doing and whether everything was going to plan. Although we were at work during the installation we felt very comfortable in allowing him to work unsupervised for most of the project. Our grown up children were in house at some stages during the installation and they too have nothing but praise for Slavi. Concerning the financial aspects something we all know can be an area for disquiet. We agreed up front a very fair payment schedule which enabled Slavi to purchase what he required whilst giving us the confidence that we were still in control. In total we made four phased payments an initial deposit; two payments as the kitchen was delivered and a final payment on completion when we were satisfied and when Slavi gave us the gas and electric certificates. All payments were made via on line banking which again allowed Slavi to receive payments fast and efficiently whilst giving us some security. I have no concerns surrounding any aspects of the financial transactions made during this project. We are extremely pleased with the kitchen Slavi has exceeded our expectations in delivering our dream kitchen, expertly fitted, for an extremely competitive price. We cannot recommend Slavi highly enough it took us over two years to find someone who we could trust to rework our kitchen we are glad we waited until we met Slavi. Part of their appeal is, without any doubt, their staff: I had my first ever meeting with James Vivian in person and have only every dealt with 3 different people, one of whom is James. What a difference this personal relationship makes ! Cannot recommend the team at Janus Safety Solutions highly enough, their service and customer care is simply outstanding.
