Fabulous coffee table! additional bench seating for the family! The window frame mirror is also one of my favorites.

You can tell by the pictures how beautiful the room turned out, but what you can't tell is how much fun it was working with Mood & Space Design! This room was totally redone, new carpet, paint and all new furniture, window coverings and window seat cushions. I miss the laughter, I miss the shopping and I truly miss them. The antique/vintage trunks we were originally going to purchase were priced at $125+ each, but when Mood & Space went shopping at the flea markets and vintage faires they picked them up for less than $25 each. Same for the gears...we had originally purchased them at a wonderful shop in San Francisco - Big Daddy's Antiques - but when M&S found them cheaper at the flea market we did a return. Wool carpet? I was nervous, but M&S did research, sent web links, printed articles and came to a local carpet store so I could see the difference and be reassured it could weather the family and the dog! They know how to stay on budget...they always had a spreadsheet handy with the latest expenses and time worked. One example of how you can tell they "know their stuff"... We special ordered a fabric bench coffee table from a well known national furniture company. When it arrived I just didn't like the color, it looked different from the picture. Unbeknownst to me M&S had specifically worked out a "full refund" vs. 50% refund due to the fact the company could not provide a fabric sample! When we received a call on a Friday night..."you need to go to Petaluma to look at a coffee table"...we jumped in the car the next day. The table was beautiful, they gave us a discount because of their relationship with M&S and we drove it home. I think the coffee table pulls the whole room together. Their vendors are amazing! Pillows, covered seat cushions and window coverings by a fabulous vendor who delivered ahead of schedule. How do you get heavy metal gears in a stand at a great price, call Tony & Dawn at Mood & Space, their fabricator is fantastic. Tony & Dawn were in constant contact with the furniture company, carpeting company & installers and we knew as it happened where things were in the timeline. Five stars for Mood & Space Design for their professionalism, their work ethic and most of all for their fabulous designs. Feel free to email me if you would like to chat more about their work. I guess the only disappointment for the whole job was that Tony could not be there on the final day of install and styling...we missed you Tony!

Mood and Space Design brought beauty, function, and sophistication into our new home. Blending our ideas, current furniture, and new purchases with their dynamic-dual perspective, Dawn & Tony created two rooms that are a pleasure to be in. If this process sounds like magic... it's not. It's simply Mood and Space doing what they're built to do: bring imagination, talent, and their ethic of repurposing/green design into your world. I'm eagerly awaiting the transformation of the rest of our home as Dawn & Tony work with us to create a space that balances our need for function and comfort with our beliefs in sustainability and beauty. Bottom line: I can't recommend Mood and Space Design highly enough.

I had the great pleasure of meeting and working with both Dawn and Carol, two very powerful women from Mas Design. Dawn contacted me via Instagram after I photographed one of her fantastic interior designs for a third party. Those designs and images brought an amazing amount of traffic to my site. I loved photographing her project. Dawns asked to meet for coffee to create a connection that may or may not end up in another project. I think we both went into that meeting not necessarily knowing where it would lead us. By the end of her tea and my latte, I felt like I just talked to a friend I have not seen in years. Dawn's warm and extremely welcoming energy made our get-together so much fun. Her honest feedback on several different topics and her openness in helping me out (even though we just met) was very touching. Of course, this meeting ended up in a conversation about Dawn and Carol's new website and their need for headshots. I could not have been more happy to offer her my service ;) The day of the shoot went as expected. At my arrival, the two women were already ready for the shoot. Hair, makeup, and outfits were ready to go. The professionalism was easy to see and feel, and the shooting went extremely well. Both women were very open to feedback and had no problem opening up in front of me. The whole process went without any hiccups or problems. Hands down one of my favorite clients. I truly consider both of them as friends, partners and mentors. Even though I have not hired them for my own person interior design needs, I can tell they will get the job done, no matter what. Their high energy, professionalism, warmth and ability to listen is truly inspiring. I can not recommend them more!

She is easy and fun and pours everything into her projects and relationships. We had such a hard time working with our contractor on our reno, and I was so grateful for all of my time and back and forth with Corine because she, by contrast, was a dream. I honestly don't understand how any human can be so good at paint colors. What on planet earth is harder than paint colors!!?! Corine has this incredible talent for it -- she would flip through a deck (nay, decks!) and immediately narrow down to a few choices and then every single time for us, the perfect color was in there. One of my favorite things about how our renovation turned out and the thing I got the most compliments on is our paint colors. It's super clear that Corine loves design and something really cool about her is she wants her clients to have exactly what they want. Her tastes aside (she beautiful taste, obviously), she's just not one of those designers who only has one look/one vibe. She can deliver on anything and make it look amazing. I would work her again a million times over and had to come and leave a review. If your hesitant about working with a designer (as I was) give Corine a try and thank me later haha

To say we would use her team in the future is an absolute guarantee. When doing our research on designers, we knew we needed someone who was confident in their design aesthetic but flexible with ours, mindful but creative with budget considerations, and a brand/company who was passionate, professional, and hands-on - this IS CM Natural Designs. From the moment we decided to move forward, Corine and her team were ready and available to answer all of our logistical/design questions - they were professional, worked with our deadlines, SUPER organized, and the attention to detail was always evident in everything she and her team did. For our master bathroom, she helped us envision the look and feel and manipulated the space/design to reflect that. We wanted ours to be a complete juxtaposition between masculine (industrial look and feel of bathroom hardware and shower door) and feminine design elements (brushed gold details/decorative lighting). To say this was accomplished would be an understatement. We LOVE our bathrooms. The whole experience with CM Natural Designs, from start to finish, was as effortless as any renovation could possibly be. As there are ALWAYS bumps in the process of any renovation (i.e. contractor issues, unexpected costs, ect.), Corine and her team took ownership of our project and handled it with poise and professionalism from start to finish. We will absolutely use her team in the future and cannot recommend her company enough.

Kimberly laid out a fantastic plan, understood my taste and was also able to speak and connect with my husband about cost in a way that not only eased his mind about the projects, but really brought him on board to the point that he was championing the projects and really excited about them as well. Every day my husband comes home and says, "I love our home. Thank You for hiring Kimberly. I now understand what you both were doing to make this house ours." It doesn't get any better than that! Kimberly helped make our house into a stunning home. We will continue to work with Kimberly on future projects. She is also gifted with landcaping as well. Our next phase is to redo our front and back yard. I highly recommend Kimberly Rider. She is knowledgeable, has a fabulous design aesthetic, and she is wonderful, just wonderful to work with on interior design projects. I have to say, she encourages your input and feedback, so she can understand your design aesthetic. Throughout the process, she would always say to me, "We are designing for you. I want you to love it. If you don't love it, let me know. And it's okay if we disagree. I want to find pieces that you absolutely love and are going to make you feel good in your home." I learned so much throughout the process and really appreciated the time and hard work behind the scenes as well, that go into interior design. I've always been a bit nervous about using bold colors, but she pushed us (in a good way!) for a deeper color palette in the main living areas. It looks incredible. Kanika found us so many unique, high-quality furniture pieces that you just won't find at a big-box store. The biggest thing for us was logistics. Once the design process completed, their team handled everything - architectural, permit headache, and construction. Anyone who has done a remodel knows things never go 100% perfectly, but whenever an issue popped up, they were on top of it immediately. I can't recommend Kanika and her team enough. We're still obsessed with how everything turned out.
