Okay, a lot of people equate the underground station with the mainline station. I don't. Don't ask me why, but it is probably because they had different symbols, and I suspect maintained by different authorities (though I could be wrong). Anyway, this station allows you to get into Marylebone station, which compared to other mainline stations, is actually rather small. Apparently, this area used to be pretty dodgy as well, if the number of pubs is anything to go by.
I believe that I've already made some comments on this station, but no doubt that has to do with the fact that I insist that the Underground station isn't the same as the mainline station. It is rather small, comparatively, but that probably has a lot to do with Chiltern railways being a rather small company, as opposed to the larger ones that operate out of the larger stations. Despite it being small, it still has some charm, and unlike Fenchurch Street, it has it's own underground station. read more
