This morning less than three hours before the meeting Justin, the person I was scheduled with, called to inform me that he isn't a notary. But he could reschedule me today at 10:30am with Ashley, the notary, as she had an open appointment available. Twenty minutes later, Ashley called and informed me she had appointments at 10am and 11am and she would have to reschedule my appointment for another day. Had they bothered to inform me when I scheduled my appointment four days ago I could have rescheduled at another branch. But it's Saturday and the bank closes early and the other branches are already booked. Not only that but I could have had an alternate option besides Chase. Extremely disappointed at the service received from this branch.

I received my IRS refund as a check instead of the requested direct deposit. The check came hyphened with my maiden name and married name on it. My account only has my married name on it. I went to the drive-thru teller to request the cashing of the check and to take $200 dollars from it. The teller advised that I could not take $200 dollars from it, but he could deposit it. My first thought was to go cash the check at Walmart, so I requested the check back. Then I decided to just go ahead and deposit it and wait until the next day to do what I intended to do with the $200 dollars. The next morning, I check the account and learn the deposit had been rejected. Upon speaking with cs, I learned the deposit was rejected because I did not sign the check with my hyphenated name and then without the hyphen. Totally Ludacris. With or without the hyphen my last name is still the same. Now I have to wait two weeks for the tender to arrive in the mail and appear at the bank with my birth certificate, marriage license and driver's license just so they can deposit the check. Now I see why my late family hated banks! They saved their money at home!!! No, you don't receive interest, but what is 6 cents going to do when all these banks do is inconvenience the hell out of you!

The automated phone system doesn't work half the time, Mr. Vincent McCarty does not know how to return calls or emails in a timely manner, if at all. The banking app is the absolute worst. Make a principal payment and their software applies it as a regular incremental payment so you have to call and email until you get a human being to reverse it and apply it to the principle only. I can't wait until I pay my loan off and walk away from this subpar bank. Do not use them for a mortgage. It's not worth the headache you will live with for the 3/4 or 1% lower interest rate. I made a $16500 payment and they applied $2214 of it as a regular payment after they deducted $2214 out of my checking all on 3/1/22. Run away, as fast as you can from their mortgages and servicing.
