It can be intimidating for a little kid, heck, adults even, to have their teeth cleaned. But they really do a great job at putting kids at ease. The office is very clean and efficiently run as well. Their token treat system for kids after their visits is a lot of fun and the kids really enjoy picking something special after a job well done! Would absolutely recommend this office to anyone. :)

After getting a few second opinions, we decided to schedule the procedure. I am thoroughly impressed with this office and how they prepped us for the visit, calling us the day before and letting us know what to expect. On the day of the visit, all care providers were so excellent with my daughter providing a calming and enjoyable experience as she watched her favorite tv show and using child friendly language to explain what was being done. My daughter remained calm and happy throughout the process. As a parent, this process was smooth and I felt that my child was in good hands during this procedure. The follow up was great and they provided a prize for my child at the end of the visit. She was very happy and is not afraid to go back!

I was skeptical he would be able to sit without sedation. Dr. Holdbrook and his staff were patient with my questions (and my mistake with the insurance information) and very kind to my son. Dr. Holdbrook is both kind and grounded and the perfect combination for a young boy who got his first crown without complaint. Before the appointment my son was saying he wouldn't go through with it. Dr. Shapiro kindly answerd "Letters are the baby teeth you still have and numbers are your grown up teeth" Even when we had differing opinions on care planning for my daughter's teeth she was respectful and understanding of my views. They also included my daughter in the care and planning of her dental care by offering choices of toothpastes like Bugglegum, Apple, Orange, and grape. All I can say is wow. Typically going to the dentist for me is about as enjoyable as spending a day…read morescratching nails against a chalkboard. I think I just found my favorite dentist. Dr. Altomare was so pleasant and friendly. I was able to make an appointment the day of because my tooth was bothering me. When I got there I filled out the forms and was invited back right away. I didn't request it at the time of my appointment but I was about due for a cleaning so I asked if I can have that done as well to save myself another trip. Dr. Altomare took the time to listen to all my concerns and asked thorough questions. He adresed the problem and then advised me that he was going to proceed with the cleaning. So usually cleanings aren't that pleasant for me either and are typically followed by a scolding session of how bad my teeth are, how I should get a cleaning every 3 months and basically be appalled at my poor hygiene. THIS doctor however did none of that. He did an amazing job cleaning my teeth, I didn't even flinch once. Instead of scolding me he actually provides useful advice - that i should switch to a sensitive toothpaste because my teeth are sensitive. He then proceeded to discuss my treatment "options" which aren't really options but definitely didn't bully me into a series of services I didn't need and didn't create mass hysteria over how urgent everything is. I have been putting of my fillings for YEARS because I didn't want to deal with dentist but I eagerly made another appointment for the same week to come back and get it resolved. 10/10 would recommend to anyone
