i've promoted from this school last month. from my experience, i would say stay out of drama and…read morefights, dont get TOO involved in situations, and what i honestly gotta not leave out is the fact that some kids bring a vape to school. around 5 months ago, my friend and her other friends from A or B track brought a vape and blamed it on my friend. their side was taken, my friends was not. including that friend, me and her teacher in 5th grade said that my 2 friends were trying to impress and get boys, for shirts and pants not dresscodable. the shirts were fine, they are not shoulder showing, belly showing or chest showing. they were PERFECTLY fine. the pants were not too low, they were at the perfect jeans distance. the teacher said that, causing my friend to move schools. some of the fights can be stupid though, one fight was over a boy, the two people that 'fought' were back friends the next day, then those two were arguing before promotion, massing reporting each other, blocking, etc etc. then they go back as friends, acting like nothing happened. the other friend even forced one of her friends to stop being friends with a girl they were super close to. most of the drama can be stupid/really dumb, just stay out of it and you'll be fine. one teacher DID snatch my friends phone away from her, saying shes using it in school, after the bell rang and were out the gates, meaning she was not on school grounds. this school was okay, i've been here since kindergarten, the experience was great but not that great. you'll get snitched if u do bad stuff though. but now, i don't believe you guys should get out at 1:45 on early outs. i get kids are tired, they dont like long school days, but honestly, discipline them more. some kids talk bad about teachers behind their back and the teachers dont do anything. overall 7.8/10.

The vice principal Mr. Pham makes inappropriate jokes about girls. My sister came home and told me…read morethat she was playing with her friend's hair and Mr. Pham told my daughter not to touch "animals". Not only that, I attended this school before and I wont lie, the teachers are really good they're amazing and super nice but the vice principal should NOT work there anymore he should be fired. Whenever I had issues with other students or I needed to report something to the office he would choose sides. I had an issue with a girl in my class and I reported this to Mr. Pham and he called both of us into the office and he very clearly was choosing favorites. He would make jokes and say that I was being dramatic and the other girl was new to our school and just wanted to be my friend. If you want to be friends with someone you don't make up rumors. He said that I needed to prove to everyone that these rumors weren't true. Who would say that to a 13 year old? He's supposed to help deescalate the situation and he just added fuel to the fire. This isn't the only issue I've had with Mr. Pham but this review is already getting long. Do NOT put your child in this school if you care about whose running the school. The teachers are great but that man Is a horrible person. He used to make jokes about how his wife was "hot and sexy".

This school was absolute TRASH filled with the rudest people I have ever met. I've been in this…read moreschool for a while now and I'm finally leaving the school because I'm moving somewhere else but let me tell my experience. So I got bullied my whole time here and the staff did nothing about it didn't even care, Everytime I told the teacher something they said 'tell the yard-duty' and I told the yard duty about it and they didn't even do anything, the students are so rude, they talked bad about me and my friends and we confronted staff and they did nothing. One time in 4th grade, this girl had a headache and the teacher let her go to the nurses office and one time I was really sick... runny nose, sour throat and fever and the teacher asked if I could stay until the end of the day like what the hell is wrong with you? And the food absolutely sucks also, we had moldy apples and one time we had expired milk from 3 MONTHS AGO. And the vice principal makes up weird rules, one time me and my friends were eating our snacks by the bench and he was like 'you have to eat by the snack area' and the snack area was FLOODED with people and we weren't even littering or anything we were just eating. And I remember in 2nd grade and 4th grade my teachers yelled at me and it scared the hell out of me. And one time I heard that the PE teacher punched a kid in the shoulder. But yea if you kids or whatever do not send them to this school it's ass

I am sharing this to make other parents aware of serious concerns regarding Ms. Choi's conduct in…read morethe classroom. Although she may present herself as friendly, my child experienced repeated condescending, inappropriate, and troubling behavior. My child was bullied by other students on multiple occasions, and I personally witnessed some of these incidents. Instead of intervening appropriately, Ms. Choi dismissed my child's reports, denied that incidents occurred, and labeled her a liar. She made inappropriate comments about my child's appearance, including remarks about her skin color, and spoke negatively about me as a parent directly to my child. My child also reported being physically touched in a way that made her uncomfortable. In addition, she described instances where Ms. Choi would whisper comments in her ear so that others could not hear, which caused her to feel isolated and distressed. When I brought these concerns to school administration, I did not see meaningful action taken. After contacting the district multiple times over several months, I was finally able to have my child transferred due to limited availability.I encourage parents to remain vigilant, listen carefully to their children, document concerns, and advocate firmly when necessary. Every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and protected in their classroom.

Well...we weren't looking for a school, but somehow Bradshaw Christian got us looking at schools…read more My wife and I happened to drive by Bradshaw Christian and decided to take a look around. We really weren't there with the intention of finding a school for our kids, but after seeing the campus and getting a glimpse of the environment, we honestly walked away pretty impressed. The school has a lot happening for the kids, with events, activities, and things that seem to give students something to actually look forward to. That stood out to me because school should be more than just showing up, sitting in a classroom, and waiting for the bell to ring. The staff also seemed genuinely happy and energetic with the kids. Everyone we saw appeared friendly, engaged, and like they actually enjoyed being around the students. That kind of atmosphere says a lot. I also liked that there seemed to be plenty of support and services geared toward both the children and their parents. From what we were able to see, it feels like they're trying to create a real school community rather than just running a school. And here's the funny part...we left saying, "We weren't even looking for a school!" But then came the inevitable, "Well...what if our kids went here?" So no decision has been made, but Bradshaw Christian definitely planted the seed. Sometimes you go somewhere just to look around and accidentally leave with homework. Now my wife and I have another conversation to have..."So, are we actually considering this school now?"

Unlike what happens in public schools (kids make fun of or try to talk over the person presenting) I am a firm believer that Bradshaw Christian helps our kids keep their innocence about them and that is something no amount of money can buy. I was able to talk with the Principal at the Salute to Service football game they had and I spent the whole time thanking her and her staff for running such a great school for my son to attend -Justin Reece

This review has been long overdue. Our daughter has been attending SPLS for the last two years…read more Finding SPLS has been an answered prayer. We unexpectedly moved to the area and had three weeks to look for a school before the year started. We started with another school which didn't work out at all. After we found SPLS, I wished so much that we had found them a lot sooner. First and foremost, the school fosters a faith-filled nurturing environment. You feel this in the core of the school community among the teachers, the office staff, and the administration. They genuinely care about our students and are so kind and wonderful. The academics are top-notch and are taught in a fun and engaging way. Our teachers are not only very credentialed but have amazing backgrounds in homeschooling and years of experience in many other school settings. My daughter came home with math homework once which looked like something I didn't see until I was older. I was prepared to relearn the lesson and teach it to her when she said, "Don't worry. My teacher taught me again when I didn't understand it the first time. I got it. It's actually easy!" This spoke volumes that my daughter would feel encouraged and confident even as learning gets challenging. The families here are diverse. It is a beautiful community where my child shares things about her culture and learns about others. During the summer, my daughter can't wait to start school as she misses her teachers and friends. Fortunately, the school has a summer enrichment program that runs through July. We feel blessed that our daughter was able to get into this school. I have toured 3 private schools and our local public school. Hands down I cannot even compare. They checked off all of my boxes and then some. There is no other school as special as this place has been for us. It makes me feel confident as a parent that my child is getting a solid foundation. Thank you SPLS for welcoming us with open arms.
