It's never fun to go to the dentist, and it's definitely even less fun to go to the oral surgeon,…read morebut... Hands down the best dental/medical care I have received ANYWHERE. Pickins are slim in Iowa, but I can confidently say I would choose Dr. Roewe over all other oral surgeons out there. I have a long, complicated dental history and have been coming to Dr. Roewe for years. He is so flexible with my schedule (multiple weekend appointments; he even came in on Christmas when I had an emergency) and willing to patiently explain the situation/his treatment plan and rationale. The nurses are all quite friendly and even though getting your mouth sliced open is probably pretty high on everyone's list of a crappy day, everyone does their best to make you happy and comfortable and experience a successful surgical outcome.

People do try to avoid the need for surgery, let alone oral surgery. However, I have scheduled an…read moreappointment at Dr. Roewe's office for a wisdom teeth removal when I was a freshman in high school. I came into his office for the appointment after a few delays due to me having a mild case of pneumonia. As the anesthesiologist inserted the needle and I started to slip into unconsciousness, I was watching American Hoggers, a reality TV show about wild hog hunters in Texas. I was rendered unconscious within what seemed like 10 seconds after the drugs took effect. I momentarily woke up in his office and the wisdom teeth were extracted. There was one very mild complication with one of the teeth, which removed some of the skin. But he stitched the roots accordingly. I've also learned that my mom had the same oral surgeon when she got her wisdom teeth taken out. Overall, the procedure went very well, and to be honest, it was actually kind of fun (I was very out of it coming out of the anesthesia). Final grade: 4/5 (80%)

I have stage 4 renal disease, and had to go for a pre employment drug screening. While I amy look…read morerelatively normal, I am actually pretty sick. I made the appointment, and on the day of, I made it a point to be polite to the staff. I walked in and the front desk person was on the phone. I waited at a respectful distance, until she was ready for me. A massage therapist came out of the back, looked at me like I was scum and ignored me. The other woman finished her call and rudely asked what I was there for. I handed over my i.d. and paperwork, which she rudely snatched out of my hand and told me to "sit over there and don't touch anything", so I sat down and waited. I was called back to the bathroom by a staff member who was just as rude as the other two, and woukd not give me the chance to explain that I am in renal failure and while I had been chugging water, I have no control over my urine output or frequency, but the woman sighed and acted like I was lying or something. I gave the sample but it was not enough. I offered to try again when I could but was told "we don't have time for that!". Overall I felt humiliated by the treatment I received, and by being dismissed by the staff as if I were somehow 'less than'. I will NEVER go there as a patient and am looking for some place else to do my drug test!

I took test after test after test with the doctor and they found nothing and said I had sleep apnea I was not sleeping and was having all kinds of health issues. My friend Bryce Koelling who is a chiropractor said, hey can you do me a favor and just go to a local chiropractor and get checked out. They can help you out. So I decided to go to Rexroth Chiropractic care and invest time and money into my health. Lord knows how much money I spent at a medical doctor. So I got treated and with in a month I was feeling so much better I was sleeping through the night even went through the fall with out much asthma ( usually fall I'm super sick with asthma and infections taking prednisone and antibiotics every other month. But this year I was on it once ) Although my health is not perfect I strongly believe that the Chiropractic care has made a huge difference in my health!! Recently Emily was super sick and complained about her back I said would you like to try the chiropractor??? More curious then not she said Yes After X-rays we found out she had had trama to her neck ( I had forgotten about her trama as she was so young the trama when she was 2 ( a concussion and Merry go round accident ) Caused pinched nerves and her spin to grow improperly. When she got done getting g adjusted she felt so much better and thanked me. For letting her get adjusted She said my whole body feels better !! Then she asked can he help my foot?? I was like what is wrong with your foot?? She said it hurts .... so the next time I asked and he adjusted her foot and she said it doesn't hurt any more. Something so simple fixed my family's health We only have one spine and it controls our entire body!! When it's out of wack our health is as well. Thank you Rexroth Chiropractic care!!! Joel Rexroth.
