Mary Kay holds a special place in my heart because it was the first brand which made me realize that even oily skin can benefit from moisturizer. Before I've tried their Velocity facial wash and moisturizer combo, my skin was in a rather poor condition because I've been bombarding it with oil-killing products in the misguided belief that it was the right thing to do with my greasy, adolescent skin. Mary Kay skin care products might seem to be pricey, looking through their catalogues but considering the amount of product you get, they are actually quite affordable.
As for their makeup, the timewise foundation is rather good, provided you can find a color match - this may be a problem because there are no stores where you can play with testers. The frustrating thing about Mary Kay is that they are only sold through Mary Kay ladies so you are out of luck if you don't have a neighbor or an office mate selling their products. read more
