The Hearing Health Care Center of Manassas is simply the best hearing center in Manassas. And I…read moreknow it is the best because we have used other hearing centers and experienced, first hand, the difference Mary Jo Grote and her staff made to our family. In addition to hearing loss, my elderly mother is physically handicapped and requires a little more care and patience than most. Mary Jo and her staff treated my mother just like she was their mother, with great patience and care. If you are looking for technology, the Hearing Health Care Center of Manassas also offers the latest and best hearing aid technology available. They provided us with a solution that was easy enough for my elderly mother to use and technically advanced enough for me to take advantage of the latest features and benefits. Mary Jo spent a great deal of time finding just the right solution for my mother and when she turned the new hearing aids on, my mother's facial expression and pure joy to finally be able to hear brought me to tears. My mother can now participate in conversations, does not need to turn up the volume on the television and can use a regular phone. Mark also took a great deal of time and care to explain everything in basic language my mother can understand. The Hearing Health Care Center of Manassas gave my mother a level of freedom and confidence she has not had in years. Mostly, they gave her the care she needed. I cannot express how happy my family and I are with everyone at the Hearing Health Care Center of Manassas. Thank you!

Please consider going elsewhere. Made my appointment two weeks in advance with a female…read moreaudiologist. I had specifically explained that the sole reason for the visit was that I needed a letter to accomodate my veterans claim as instructed by the United States Veterans Administration!!!! I received a fax number from their administrative person and was instructed to forward my private medical records. I paid a fee to scan the materials and was subsequently assured that the audiologist would review. I then took the day off work to meet with the audiologist. Upon meeting her, I reminded her of the reason for my visit. She babbled for about twenty minutes until finally insisting that I take a hearing test, "which the ear, nose and throat doctor could use to supplement the letter". Instead of considering the best interest of the patient, guided by her ego and dishonesty she encouraged me to take a hearing test which I had taken less then a year ago with a VA Provider. She explained that she could not sign off on any letter as she did not have the credentials to do so. The audiologist then assured me that she would speak to ENT doctor in her office who was able to sign off on such documentation after an evaluation. She assured me that she would update him on our conversation and that they would reschedule me with the Ear, Nose and Throat Doctor. Thus, I scheduled an appointment with him. However, immediately upon arriving at home from the visit, I received a call that the ENT would not be able to sign off on any diagnosis and the office admin referred me to another ENT!!! This practice not only wasted two weeks of my time as well as caused me to use a day of leave so that I could make this appointment but...the audiologist was dishonest, and misleading. She should not have instructed nor advised me to take a second hearing exam so that the ENT doctor could use it to prepare his documentation nor should she have wasted an hour of my time. Moreover, had she read the documentation provided to her by the front office staff two weeks in advance, she would have had sufficient time to arrange for them to reach out to me and cancel the appointment. I suggest looking for a practice that puts the patient front and not their ego. Plenty of other specialists in the area and this one was intentionally misleading and misguided.

In my opinion, this doctor is a quack and at minimum doing predatory billing practices…read more I had an accident on a trip where I cut my forehead and hit my nose and felt something was wrong. It felt like something in my septum was squishy and out of place after the accident. I was having trouble breathing and sleeping. I thought an ENT could look at it and find a solution. Gupta barely looked at my nose. He asked to look at my covered forehead wound, but I said I was not comfortable taking off my bandaid. The hospital that stitched me said I should keep it covered for 2 months. He seemed offended that I wouldn't let him. Then he left the room for awhile. Eventually he came back into the room with a long tube thing. He said it had a camera to look in my nose. The weird thing is he didn't even put it down my nose or anything. He just looked into it from the edge of my nose. He had already done that. Then he said there was no swelling and nothing wrong with it, while also saying to give it time. How would time help if there's nothing wrong with it? He basically said I was being silly and ignored my symptoms. I already had a second opinion lined up for a couple days later. That doctor said there was swelling and that there was a pocket of blood on one side that was closing off that nostril. She drained the blood and I could immediately breathe normal. So clearly Gupta just doesn't know what he is doing. To make matters worse. I then get a bill saying he charged my insurance $900 dollars for "surgery" which I learn was him pretending to use the endoscopy tube so he can charge more money. I messaged and called his office about this, but they ignored me. Don't bother going here.

Everything I have I owe to this face. I went to an urgent care center where they patched up the visible damage and took x-rays. Then they called and asked me to get a CT scan. When the CT scan results came back, they called me very concerned and insisted that I see an ENT immediately. They even made the appointment. When I arrived, the doctor reviewed the CT scan. I had it on a CD. He explained that he could see why they were concerned but assured me that the injuries were severe but did not pose a threat. He showed me the CT scan on the computer. I didn't know what the heck I was looking at, but he explained it. He said that the interior damage to my face would heal over time. There was one issue of the numbness. He said that he could do a surgery but it was not guaranteed that it would health the nerve, depending on the extent of the damage. So we scheduled surgery. It was across the street in the hospital. He came in while I was being prepped. Then after the surgery he explained how it went to Precious. Then I had a follow up visit followed by another follow up visit a month later. It's been about a year now. Most of the numbness is gone. There is only a very small portion of my face that is numb. I'm just as handsome as I was before which truth be told is a very low bar. Throughout the process the doctor explained the injuries, he showed me the CT scan, during the follow ups he was a good communicator always open to questions and always explaining the process. I had the impression that this doctor is very competent and caring. I also appreciate very much how he explained everything and was always willing to answer questions.
