Woodburn is lucky to have a dentist of Dr. Patel's quality. I first meet her when I was having…read moreterrible pain in one of my teeth. She immediately recognized it as an infection and gave me a prescription for antibiotics, which took care of the problem in less than 24 hours. She also gave me a referral to a specialist who dealt with the root (no pun intended) of the problem. I have since made her my regular dentist. She's super friendly, but most importantly she is super thorough with dental care. The office is calm and inviting, and isn't intimidating for folks who are afraid of a trip to the dentist. Again, for a small rural town like Woodburn we are fortunate to have a high quality dentist such as Dr. Patel to choose from.

They are not professional at all I wonder how they are still in business. I got scammed by doing…read moreunnecessary 23 x-rays just so they can get money from my healthcare, no proper exam, or cleaning. I went there to get my teeth cleaned because I live close to this place. I told them I could bring my record from my old dental, and Itś okay for me to get the yearly x-rays done. They insisted to do all 23 x-rays for no good reason. They made me wait for more than 30 minutes because they schedule a lot of people at the same time and they rush to get to the next person. They brushed my teeth in less than 5 minutes then they flossed roughly and damaged my gums. Unfortunately, Woodburn modern dental was unlike any professional dental I have ever been to. The cleaning they did for me was not what I expected. It was quick brushing and flossing. Like something I could do at home myself. The doctor said that the assistant will remove the plaque and polish my teeth, but unfortunately the assistant did not spend any time on my teeth at all. After brushing and flossing effortly, she said ¨finished¨. They hadn't cleaned ANY of my stains so I told them what happened and they tried to sweet talk me saying ooh you're teeth are so clean there was nothing for us to do. Also they assume everyone who comes speaks spanish because they handed me paperwork to fill in SPANISH they quickly left the room. I was waiting for them to tell them I don't speak spanish after 20 minutes of waiting, they came back and I told them to give me the English form. Dr Patel and her assistant do not have the ethics to be in the dental field.

1 star is far too many. Starting at the front desk, the girls were nice, but i saw the wall clock…read morewas off an hour. They said they were too lazy to fix it. My cleaning went fine. Went back next week for cavity fills. Neither my cleaner nor the gal for my fills, nor my dentist introduced themselves. Dentist (55ish grey haired balding guy) put the local on my gums for about 15 seconds. I asked about it and he said it was the normal amount of time. He put the shot in and i started screaming and kicking my feet. He took it out and i again asked about the local. He said nothing and shot me again. Screaming, kicking and an arched back this time. He then says hes gonna let it sit a bit and i decided to leave a half hour later when nobody came back. No call to see what happened up to now (week later) i did however get a call the next day to remind me of my appointment...by the way, im very used to pain as i have fybromyalgia, myofacial pain syndrome, discitis, and spondylosis. I also had taken a vicodin an hour before my appointment. Long story short, id rather have Dr Nick (from The Simpsons) do my dental work than so called "soft" touch. Be warned.

Soft touch dental of Woodburn was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I only went there…read morebecause I found out that they were 100% covered with my insurance so I was like ok I haven't had my teeth cleaned in a while and I had some work done years ago that needs to be checked on but otherwise I have good teeth. When I went in for the new patient exam they told me that they wanted to keep on eye on my crown (which we have been keeping an eye for years now) and that my two far back molar one on each side the fillings needed to be replaced. Ok that's all I need done. Well they said they do the metal fillings and I am not a fan so I said no thanks. I'll just do the cleaning at this time. So I scheduled that for that next Monday. When I checked in they were like we are doing a cleaning and two fillings. I was like no I don't want the metal fillings so just the cleaning. They were rude and was like you're getting the white. Ok thanks. When they did the injection they did something wrong and my jaw instantly hurt and swollen and I could not open my mouth as wide. Which was weird. And only my cheek was numb nothing else. So they gave another injection my tongue was getting numb they start drilling and I wasn't numb so they gave my more. My jaw is in so much pain. They did the cleaning while I was numb and they had a hard time with that because I couldn't open my mouth very wide. Go back and the do the filling. Turns out they did a tooth that they didn't even inform me that needed to be done. As well as my molar. When I checked out they then told me my crown suddenly needed replaced and I need to redo more fillings. But that was not what I was informed a few days prior. After 6 hours of my jaw still hurting I call them up and he was like oh your muscle just tensed up with the injection and that happens sometimes. face tender to touch all the way up to the temple and back down the face. He only response was take a pain killer. Today I called a different dentist because the pain is so bad and I can't eat. New dentist was able to see me today and informed me that he injected it into my cheek muscle completely and it created a pocket of fluid (the novocaine) and it couldn't escape and pretty much gave me a Charlie horse in my face. There was no need to do the injection in that location and now until my muscle finally relaxes I can't open my mouth and it's swollen and painful and I can't really eat anything because of the pain. I will never recommend this place to anyone and I will never go back I think they just wanted me to get more stuff done just to get money.
