We stopped on a whim and because I love books and bookshops. We spent 3+ hours conversing with Winifred, who had an amazing knowledge of every book in her shop. I ended up buying many books, that I had to ship back east. Winifred and Singing Wind Bookshop are one of the reasons I fell in love with Arizona. There is a good variety between new and used (mostly used), well-organized, and I have always found what I was looking for, plus some extras. I've visited many times and there are always fun things to look at, from the staff recommendations, to locally made jewelry, candles, and bookmarks, to the seasonal offerings from the cafe. They also host a variety of events. The space is clean and modern with lots of seating, both indoor and outdoor. The space is on the smaller side though, but they still have a solidly curated selection of books to browse. I know I will be back again and again!
