I believe her name is Ester. She doesn't communicate and tell the patient what she is going to do. She started cleaning his teeth. I told my son to raise his hand if he felt pain. When he raised his hand she told me I should take him to the hospital to get the gas so he won't feel pain. She caught an attitude and I told her that she needs to communicate and understand her patients feelings. You can tell she didn't want to care for my son. I was so turned off we walked away. Since then I have recommended him every time someone asks. He and his wife Michelle, who does all the scheduling and deals with the insurance companies, are both so personable and caring. Just this morning, my daughter had a dental emergency at 6am and I called them when they opened at 8 and was told to come right in. I have had root canal with a crown and had an infected wisdom tooth pulled by Dr Marvin in his office all within the last few months and am very happy with his work and bedside manner. In the past I have had bad dental anxiety but his personality is just so friendly that I forget that I'm nervous. I was seen right away, no wait. Dr. Schachter was very kind, calm and gentle. He made sure to administer the novocaine in the most painless way possible. He talked me through everything, took his time and by the time the tooth was removed- I didn't even realize he had taken it out. I felt nothing! His assistant was super sweet, kept my company and talked to me while we waited for the novocaine to kick in- she even let me hold/squeeze her hand during the procedure (in hindsight it was totally unnecessary the way I squeezed the crap out of her hand, but it was still very comforting lol).
