Jon storyboarded it and right out of the gate it was funny and he got so many details (even stuff in the background) right. Once the final pencil was approved he colored it in with beautiful watercolors and it really took the cartoon to the next level. The process was very fast and took about two weeks from sending him stuff to getting the final piece, which I picked up in person. Send Jon an idea along with a couple photos. I'd recommend more than 1 so he can get the best sense of what everyone looks like. He'll make a few quick sketches of his design ideas and let you pick which one you like most. Then, he'll send multiple drafts along the way to make sure you're happy with how its coming out. When the final pencil is approved, he'll color it in and arrange to pick it up. He completed mine in about a week and a half but I got the sense he could do much faster if I needed it. And the price is determined by how many panels and how much detail you want. So if you're on a budget, Jon can still make you something cool. I'd highly recommend this as a gift!
