They go into 2-3 cramped crowed trailers where I couldn't even fit in due to tables full right up to the door of kids just sitting there. The staff could barely find who I was there to pick up. Why? How? Can this horrible thing be happening. I taught and site directed preschool programs for 10 years and know how things could and Should be. Parents observe please. Ur kids are precious.

KLA was the place where all my kids learned to crawl, then walk and run. Its walls were privy to the earliest conversations and first friendships. Its yards were the source of a few scrapes, endless make-believe games, and new discoveries. The staff truly loved my children for so many hours they were away from home. Every year there were new rituals of playing in the hallway before heading to class and waving goodbye through the big glass windows. It was such a joy to watch all three of my kids thrive and learn new things daily. When I think of KLA, I think of finger painting and puddle splashing, cultural activities and the annual Halloween parade, Friendsgiving and field trips to the blue park. I think of Spanish classes, theater performances, and ASL. I treasure the amazing portfolios that our teachers put together for every child, every year. During her first week of "school" (we call it school), she was saying so many new words and making many different sounds. Atti has a great outdoor play space with a slide and play structure, bikes to ride, and a Flintstones car. She does themed activities and art projects for whatever the holiday is near. Each week the curriculum is different. For example, one week they were learning about the ocean and fish, the next week they learned about police, firemen, doctors, etc. They do breakfast and lunch, nap time, silent reading time, art, group circle time, outside play time and snack time. Atti's Childcare has structure, which every kid needs. We have seen our daughter thrive when she has structure. She knows what to expect and what is expected of her. Atti isn't afraid of discipline or to let us know if our daughter had an issue at school or if she needs to work on something. We like that. It's not just a daycare that you drop your kid off at and they run around and play with toys all day. They have jobs and structured learning, activities, and art. I had toured the school couple times, completed all required documents and paid $100 fee to make sure we would have a spot for 2023-2024 school year. Before the new school year started, I emailed the director, asked when to go to school, the director said one teacher left and they were trying to hire a new teacher, asked us to wait, no apology at all. After three weeks, I called the school again, they were still saying we have to wait until they got a new teacher, and they would call me back and enroll my kid. Now, a month and half passed, I never received a call or an email from them. I checked their website, guess what, they already hired a new teacher! But didn't tell us and enroll my kid! so I toured many other preschools and there are long waiting list to get in! I have to quit my job and stay home with my kid! They RUIN my whole schedule!! If they have a shortage of teachers, shouldn't they give a notice ahead of time? How can they just TELLING you right before the school starts! And they already hired a new teacher, why didn't enroll my kid cause he is not full time? OMG! So disgusting and disappointing!

My son did pre K with st michaels since his birthday was outside of the time to attend public school. The difference in my kids is wild. My daughter did public pre k and with the online learning has a really hard time still in second grade. My son did the program offered at day care and is so advanced for kindergarten. The teacher put their own pre k curriculum together and my son learned so much. I can not recomend this school enough. They are so loving and kind and really teach the children the same principles.

There is more effort put into the child's environment because the daycare is part of the owner's home. On top of that, my son feels a lot more comfortable because it's just like hanging at a friend's house for him. Naeemeh puts so much effort into making holidays special for the kids. This year, for Easter, she dressed as the Easter bunny and put on a little party for the kids. The pictures were just too special! My little one brings home cute holiday artwork often as well.
