This week, our youngest two are leaving for elementary school, and it's truly the end of an era for us. From day one, every teacher and staff member has treated our children like family. They created a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where our kids were not only incredibly loved, but also so well prepared for kindergarten. The growth we've seen in all three of our children--academically, socially, emotionally, and in their confidence--is a true reflection of the passion and dedication this team brings every single day. A very special thank you to the amazing teachers who have played such a huge role in our children's lives: Miss Sylvia, Miss Sasha, Miss Jenny, Miss Jasmine, Miss Mackenzie, Miss Tammy, and all of the other wonderful teachers who have loved, encouraged, and believed in our babies throughout the years. Your patience, kindness, and genuine care have meant more to our family than you'll ever know. And an extra special thank you to the incredible Miss Karla. Your leadership has created such a special place for families. It's clear how much your staff loves what they do, and that starts with the environment you've built. We are so grateful for everything you've done for our children and for making Kidz Planet feel like a second home. We will miss our daily drop-offs more than we can say, but we'll always be thankful that our babies spent these precious early years at Kidz Planet Preschool. Thank you for loving our children so fiercely, helping them grow into kind, confident little humans, and giving them such a strong foundation for elementary school. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We will forever recommend Kidz Planet Preschool to any family looking for the very best place for their little ones.

I wasn't sure how he would adapt, if the kids would be friendly, or if the teachers would know his needs. Melissa and Haley reassured me as a parent and updated us with pictures via the schools app on a daily which was really comforting. I loved seeing my son interact and play. We were able to find what interested him the most here. Only a couple months later, my son was then diagnosed with ASD and GCP really made the effort to focus on Max and attend to his needs as needed. They were an amazing support not only to him but to me as well. I think it's important to shout out all the teachers there too. They work so hard to tire these kids out (lol) and really care about them. Special shout out to Ms. Esmeralda if she's still there, my son was her shadow and they both loved each other so much !!! We enjoyed our time there and we hope that both him (along with his sister) can meet them again sometime.

It is rare to find a childcare provider that feels like a true extension of your own family, but after years of being part of the Miles of Smiles community, I can say with absolute certainty that Biana and her team are in a league of their own. My younger son is thriving just as much as his older brother did. The team treats him with such genuine love and affection that any "drop-off guilt" I would have had is replaced by complete peace of mind. Environment: The facility remains meticulously clean. Despite the daily whirlwind of activities, the toys are sanitized, the floors are spotless, and the "daycare smell" simply doesn't exist here. Safety & Communication: Biana remains incredibly proactive. Whether it's an update on a minor "ouchie" or a clear plan for air quality and safety, her communication is thorough and immediate. Nutrition/Development: We continue to be amazed by the meal program. Just like his brother, my 18-month-old eats nutritious, homemade meals at Miles of Smiles that he would likely turn his nose up at at home. We are also impressed that he constantly demonstrates the fine motor skills and vocabulary Biana works so hard to cultivate. If you are a parent who is hesitant about daycare or worried about finding a place that meets your "particular" needs, Biana will put you at ease. Having sent two children here through different stages of their early development, I can testify that the level of care, hygiene, and genuine love at Miles of Smiles is unmatched. They aren't just childcare providers, they're our partners in raising happy, healthy, and confident children :)

It gives us a peace of mind knowing our boys are safe, happy, and genuinely cared for every single day. We've watched our boys grow into independent, loving, and smart kids, and we credit so much of that to the play-based learning and daily care they receive. The curriculum is thoughtfully adjusted by age, which we really appreciate, and the small child to teacher ratio makes such a difference. Plus, the kids eat so well! Everything is included and made fresh daily, which is a huge win and time saver for parents. Biana goes above and beyond in the best way. The daily projects (especially the holiday ones!) are adorable. She also puts on the cutest summer and winter concerts for all the kids and families, where the kids get to sing and perform. They're such a highlight and honestly just so fun to watch. The staff truly cares about the kids and it shows. They're loving, attentive, and so invested in each child. We also love the weekly music and gymnastic classes, and Biana always captures the best photos around the holidays and birthdays. She is always available if you have a question or need to communicate schedules. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Miles of Smiles and couldn't recommend it more!!

The educators are experienced and genuinely dedicated, guiding and leading not just in the classroom, but in every interaction throughout the day. What sets Springfield apart is that they don't take a one-size-fits-all approach -- it's one size fits MOST, meeting children where they are and helping them grow at their own pace. The administration team is outstanding and truly hands-on, involved in day-to-day operations and knowing each child by name. That level of personal attention is hard to find. With over 35 years of experience as a private Montessori preschool, Springfield has a track record that speaks for itself. I can't wait for my grandchildren to attend and have this same incredible academic experience as I've seen, firsthand, with so many children who have come through the doors. Highly recommend to any family looking for the best start for their little ones.

I really wanted to love this preschool, but unfortunately our experience with the admissions…read moreprocess was so poorly handled that I would not feel comfortable enrolling my child here. It started before we even toured. I spent some time trying to get in touch with someone and received no response. I was ultimately only able to connect with the school after a coworker, whose child currently attends, reached out on my behalf. Once we finally had a tour scheduled, the school canceled on us the day of the tour and rescheduled us for the following week -- despite the fact that we had taken time off work specifically to attend. When we finally toured, we actually liked the school and were excited enough that we planned to enroll our child. We discussed the schedule we needed and understood that the 7am-6pm option was available. We told the staff that we would immediately pay the deposit. She was fine with us leaving to go home to get our check and coming right back. We live 5 minutes down the road. We left to go home and get our check and returned immediately afterward to secure his spot. In that very short window, we were suddenly told the 7am-6pm schedule was full and that they could only hold 9am-3pm. If we needed care outside of those hours, we were told it would be an additional $30 per hour. I understand that preschool spots are limited and availability can change. What I cannot understand is how a family can be sitting in the school discussing enrollment and availability, leave specifically to retrieve payment, and return shortly afterward to find that the schedule they had just discussed is no longer available -- without any communication or acknowledgment of the "confusion". The entire experience left me with serious concerns about the admissions process and the emphasis on additional fees. When you're choosing a place to care for your young child, communication, transparency and trust matter enormously. If communication is this difficult and inconsistent before your child even starts, it is hard to feel confident about what communication will look like once your child is actually in their care. Afterward, I went back and read through Yelp reviews and was surprised to see other parents describing similar frustrations with the admissions process, including concerns about communication, transparency and cost. Obviously I can only speak to my own experience, but reading those accounts after what happened to us reinforced the concerns I already had. I understand the school has recently had a change in admissions leadership, so perhaps some of this is related to that transition. Regardless, families are making significant financial commitments and, more importantly, trusting a school with their children. They deserve clear information, empathy and consistent communication throughout that process. We genuinely wanted this school to work for our family. Instead, after time of unanswered outreach, a tour canceled the day of after we had taken off work, and then having the schedule we were prepared to pay for become unavailable in the short time it took us to retrieve our check, we walked away feeling that we could no longer trust the admissions process enough to enroll our son.

Decades later, my own son attended preschool and kindergarten here (2023-2025), and seeing him experience the same warmth and joy meant so much to me. This school is genuinely one of a kind. The farm setting creates such a peaceful, nurturing environment that you just don't find at traditional schools. Children get to learn while surrounded by nature, animals, and open space, which makes learning feel natural and exciting. One thing that really stands out is the classroom environment. Many preschool and kindergarten classrooms can feel chaotic, with bins of random toys everywhere, but that's not the case here. The classroom is bright, calm, and inviting, filled with carefully curated and beautifully organized Montessori materials that encourage focus, independence, and purposeful learning. The Montessori approach really works. By the time my son graduated kindergarten, he was already reading confidently -- but even more importantly, he developed independence, curiosity, and a real love of learning. The teachers and staff create a caring, respectful community where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow at their own pace. It's rare to find a school that stays in your heart for decades, but this one truly does. I feel incredibly grateful that both my son and I were able to be part of such a special place.

The teacher to student ratio is much lower than public schools so students receive much more individual focus, plus the lessons are curated to each individuals needs. This really set our older daughter to be advanced when she moved on to public school. Our younger one is a bit more of a handful but is also excelling in this environment and learning program. It's a huge bonus having the farm aspect where they learn to garden, feed animals, and get a more balanced indoor/outdoor learning experience.
