He asked how he can help and that was odd because I had already told the person who scheduled this consult what I needed. The person with whom I consulted was named Victor Franco. Well if he said something one way, and I still had a question, why would you repeat your answer? Clearly I didn't understand it the way he said it. Finally I said, after one of the times he repeated himself, "maybe I'm not asking this the right way." And I had to ask it a different way. What did Victor do? Repeat himself, only slower this time!! And his attitude, as I continued with my questions, grew more cold and condescending. I'm not asking to be hugged or be given sympathy or even be treated with white glove service. But it is professional courtesy to avoid sounding cold and condescending to your prospective clients. Victor hung up the phone before I could say good bye.
