I needed x-ray, was impressed to find I did not need to go to another room! Offered a choice of flavoured mouth washes. A nice touch! Was very impressed with the Hygienist, sensitive teeth cause a lot of pain during any visit to hygienist normally, and I usually get jags in gums to help. But this was first time I have had no pain, or anaesthesia . They use water at a fast action to clean tartar! Brilliant. Can't say much about prices as I think private treatment is always more expensive. £52 for(private )one hygenist visit! But well worth it. Good dentist!

This is something of which I am thankful for seen as this is the only dentist I can ever remember going to. You might think that my review may be slightly biased. However, I am one of the few people (that I know of) who harbour no fear, resentment or anxiety towards a visit to the dentist. So, in my books this is a good thing. If something fear, anxiety or resentment worthy was lurking in here, I would have encountered it at least once. Instead I've only witnessed a small, local and friendly dental surgery. It's got a small waiting room, sectioned off by a glass partition, with a row of comfy office chairs lining the whole area. This reduces the likelihood of having to sit next to someone (big plus) and there are plenty of magazines - with surprisingly recent publication dates. The only points that are holding back a final star are waiting times. Do not think you will get taken on time. You will probably have to wait about an hour extra. I have found out - sadly only last month - that the best way to tackle this is to make as early an appointment as you can (on your day off too!) and to turn up even earlier. Likewise, the glass partition is not sound proof so everyone in the waiting area will overhear you getting scolded and/or whimpering when it comes to the very vigorous scrap and polish routine.

They're awesome and I've been hooked on them since I needed them to sit my driving test as I freaked out the first time round. Whether they're a placebo or not, they work for me so to avoid road rage I'll always have a spare tin in my hand bag. I was delighted to see that Boots had them on a 3 for 2 offer so decided to top up. Although this is a rather small branch of Boots it surprisingly has a lot of stock and it's very well organised too ensuring that it's customer friendly to browse. They have a good range of cosmetics including L'Oreal and Maybelline and the staff are very friendly too. The only downside was that I didn't see any meal deals so it looks like they don't stock food in this branch which is a shame, as nothing beats a Boots meal deal of an afternoon!

It's hard to review a dentist... Let's face it, nobody likes to see him. You feel like you're…read morepaying for the privilege of having someone drill in your mouth and experience that lovely fat-face feeling for the rest of the day. However, I must say that this dental surgery have handled me wonderfully this last year. Unfortunately I found myself in a position where I needed quite a lot of dental work. First came the x-rays, which my dentist, Matthew Mullan, showed me and explained what I was seeing, and told me exactly what needed to be done. I was in for the magic of root treatment and a crown! Not what you want to hear, but better than having the toothache. During every session, Matthew would recap the plan and explain what needed done on that day. He would make sure that when I was in the chair and he was working on my mouth, he would explain exactly what he was doing and always checked that I was doing OK. Matthew would also tell me that if I needed to take a break, all I had to do was let him know. Nobody likes going to the dentist, but the care was excellent and my teeth look and feel great.

I am delighted with the works that I've had carried out both routine and cosmetic.
