View from the patio - very nice!

What a cute little place with great treats. My first morning I stopped and got a pumpkin spice latte and a maple doughnut. The doughnut was great. It tasted more like a glazed than maple but knew I'd be eating a few more during my stay. After I hit the spa I decided a nice snack while my husband finished golfing would be great. They had a veggie and hummus tray. I enjoyed that while reading a book with my dog in my lap out in the patio. Quite wonderful.

Good place to get your breakfast sandwiches, bagels, or pastries (donuts, croissants), hard boiled eggs, sandwiches, and other snacks, if you are staying at the Omni Homestead Resort. Their coffees aren't half bad. We liked their coffees and it didn't smell burnt, like the other reviews mentioned. FYI, If you are an Omni Select member, make sure to let the front desk agent know, so they can provide a daily drink coupon (up to $3.75 per drink) for 2. They also offer ice cream by the scoop here too!

Burnt coffee at a "coffee shop". One star. It's so burnt I could smell it when I came down the stairs. I put a ton of sugar in it but you can't fix burnt coffee. This market is inside The Homestead and also dishes out ice cream in a cone, donuts, cookies, packaged sandwiches and a stand full of continental style breakfast cereal.

Morning - good stuff. Good coffee, pastries. Evening - nothing is restocked from the morning so it looks a bit old.

Nice shop with good coffee/food and wines. Great alternative to highly priced resort's restaurants, especially for breakfast/lunch.

What a cute little gem in the heart of warm springs. As you come or leave Bolar Moutain Rec Area…read morecoming from North or East you must pass by this little town - have to pay attention as you may miss it all together. On our way back from a week of camping we decided to check this town out, and were delighted to discover this hidden gem. It is literally hidden in the second floor of a gallery displaying interesting forms of art. But if like us you are craving some fresh deli food and coffee - take the stairs up to discover a very unassuming counter, with the most hospitable and eager to serve chap we have ever encountered. Rather than refer you to the menu, he listened to what we were craving that wasn't on the menu (eggs of course for breakfast) and presented us with a delicious egg salad on a bed of very fresh greens on a warm toasted ciabatta. Another and just as tasty creation was the Ham and Cheese sandwich that somehow turned very special with the greens and herbs that were used as bed. The meat was plenty and very different from the one you normally get - must be from a local market too. The meal was served on plates made entirely of naturally fallen palm leaves to provide - a sustainable alternative to disposable foam and plastic products which is perfectly aligned with our preferences. The seating area is just as pleasing to the eye and is set with a view of lushes green to match - see our photos. The place also features interesting items, also with a sustainability and natural products theme, and we picked a unique looking balsa wood bird house for our backyard feathered friends. Do yourself a favor and stop there on your way home - you won't regret we promise!

Reunion has been a breath of fresh air - really good espresso drinks, pastries, and breads. To be 100% honest, Crucible's coffee is better, but their pastry selection is minuscule and they can feel a bit stuffy. Reunion's pastries are good, though I wish they had more French-inspired things like pain au chocolat, croissants, or even soft cinnamon rolls, but I feel they excel more at the breads side of baking. I got a mini sourdough loaf once and it was excellent! Service is always friendly and happy, and the shop itself is cute, but there isn't much space inside. I'm all for tables outside, but there's not much real estate there either, especially on a busy morning. I think a small adjustment to flow could make it easily sit a couple cafe tables inside without it feeling so crowded. I just miss the days of being able to hang out and have good coffee and snacks while doing some work on a laptop. Seems like most businesses would rather have you out the door instead. I have high standards for bakeries and cafes, and Reunion meets most of them. They're now my favorite place to go in the mornings in Staunton... if they're open. I would go there much more often if I could actually eat my breakfast there instead of having to get back in my car or sit in the blistering summer heat.
