Apparently my description was "out of line" for printing. So here I go. *I was scammed out out over $50,000. *He left us with a broken water supply line. *He broke a main SEWAR line to be repaired later. *He damaged another intake water line which we have not yet been able to find the damage. *He damaged a water tank fill pipe. *He left a destroyed patio deck. *He left mounds of frozen backfill throughout the yard. *He used my bobcat and intentionally terminated (cut) part of the wiring harness.($4,000 repair bill). *He also prefers cash payments without giving invoices. LLOYD HARDER IS SIMPLY FULL OF "IT"!! He took $96,000 for about $50,000 worth of work!!! He took advantage of our family health situation at the time. (Our daughter was going blind with a health issue in Niagara Falls). Stressing my wife (crying on a daily basis) and myself to the point of having a near 2nd heart attack!!! BUT I HAVE TO TALK NICELY ABOUT HIM IN ORDER TO PROTECT ALL OF HIS POSSIBLY FUTURE VICTIMS!!! I never posted my story sooner as I was too mad, upset, furious, etc and still have difficulty with this. Foundation Pros (Dave Harder) started my 3 month long job in July 2022. My house was excavated around the perimiter and winter does not wait for you in Manitoba. In Nov (minus teens and twenties temps) I had freezing water lines and sewar lines and holding tanks freezing. There was a 12" open air space below the foundation walls in -20 temps!!! He then pulled out from my project leaving behind trades owing trades over $10,000/$20,000? He started another job. He told me he had no money to continue the job!!!! REALLY!!!??? (He had received well over $90,000 already) On nov8 I fired him and was forced to general contract myself. With the blessed help from the trades my home was tucked in for the winter on dec19. And was to be completed the following spring by my choice of trades. "LLOYD HARDER" IS THE NAME TO STAY AWAY FROM. APPARENTLY HE CHANGES HIS COMPANY NAME AT LEAST ONCE. He preaches about church and family and caring. It's all NOT TO BE BELIEVED!!! He should not be walking on this earth. I have dealt with thousands of companies during my time in that position and Belvidere gave me the worst experience I've ever had. I researched them heavily and they looked great. I hired them under the expectation they had in house crew to complete the work. They sent an unqualified subcontracted company that made mistake after mistake. - Dug up wrong wall - Damaged my yard as well as my neighbours driveway (that they didn't ask to use) - Several crew members spent two full weeks urinating all over my yard as the port a potty outlined in contract never was brought on site - They damaged my AC unit and filled it with mud - The first brackets they made were several inches too short (as per engineer drawings) they lied to me that they were fine but I forced them to get proper length ones after an argument - The first city inspection (which I had to do myself) failed because they installed and blocked two brackets incorrectly - First spring after repair my basement leaked in a spot within the waterproof membrane repair I had paid for - Their solution was to hire another company to fix from inside with epoxy (still not done) - Leak was on wall under steps and deck I paid to tunnel under. I cut open deck to see that they never backfilled about 10' of wall and created a waterslide and ditch to funnel water right to the foundation they were meant to waterproof. This caused a leak in a spot that never even leaked before (pics attached) - They had told me the crew they subcontracted on my job would not be working for them any longer, but that's who they sent to correct the backfill problem months later. When I asked why they were there instead of the Belvidere foreman I was promised the lead of that crew got into a verbal altercation with me, was physically threatening, and finished by saying "F off and fix it yourself" he then told the crew to pack up their stuff and leave. Through all of this I was very patient until the breaking point. I have never once received a visit, call, or even email from the owner of the company apologizing for these massive failings or offering a solution. Avoid this company at all costs.

One of their staff pissed in her yard ... they came to clean up the passed on snow and washed the side of her shed they pissed on! Then when she asked for someone to come assess the awful craftsmanship and installation of steps ... they had excuses why they could not come ... first excuse they were too busy to come that season (after the 10th call) they promised to come in the spring ... no call no one came out ... we called every 2 weeks and nothing ... they were again too busy ... fast forward to this summer ... we have called every week for the last 3 months and the receptionist ensures that she will pass on the message and yet no one calls back! We will be pursuing this legally and posting where ever we can to ensure no ones else is scammed by them!!! Very dissatisfied and disappointed!!!!
