I found the manager to be quite knowledgeable as he assisted me with selecting a Sangria. The location of the store is good, it has ample parking, is well lit and security was present. After I left the store, I realized that I had dropped one of my gloves on the street in front of the liquor store. My friend, who drove me to the store, called the store and spoke with the manager about the missing glove. My friend returned to the store later that night and the manager assisted with searching for the glove. The glove was found under a parked vehicle on the street. I was impressed with the service and assistance afforded by the manager, as he went out of his way to find my glove. I would definitely recommend this liquor store and will be back when in the area.

I usually have hard liquor so I'm easy, they have so much better pricing! I've been to Sparrow and they have a bit of an attitude! Plus this place has more of an open layout feel. The staff now is really helpful, I've seen them help other people - but I like to roam around and try different things and go with my gut, while playing loud music - so I look for things I've read online, etc. The only thing I wish they had is better priced Malbec from the Mendoza region. I tried the one from Chile, which was $12 and was hooked on it for a month but then wanted a Mendoza just to validate why I love it, but I think the cheapest they have is $18, so I bought it. And I can never go back to the Chile one, what was I thinking! Suffice it to say, would love a Mendoza Malbec for $13 or so. But great place, the staff is mostly men and they're friendly, engaging, quick!

It's well stocked and clean, with a good selection and a fairly large footprint. They also have adequate staff on hand, and someone is usually available to help with a selection if needed. There is plenty of parking though access to the parking lot is on the corner of two heavily traveled roads. If Total Wine & More sets the bar for a 5-star rating, Bottle Republic earns a solid 4 stars from me. Tip: When leaving the parking lot toward Easton Ave, many drivers attempt to turn left, crossing the double yellow line. I'd strongly recommend avoiding this.
