Marta's Lenox Station is in a supreme area of Buckhead. It is located across the street from Lenox Mall, Houston's Restaurant and easily accessible to Phipps Plaza Shopping Mall. The Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel is adjacent to Lenox Mall and directly across the street from the train station. This station has heavy foot traffic from Doraville and from the Airport area. People flock to these two malls and this area in general. The station itself is kind of drab and dark in my opinion but hey it works for those that have to use it frequently.

Walk out the mall thru the food court to access this station. Any other exit is a waste of time

There is parking here (short term/long term) The couple of times that I've been at this station there were people walking around begging for change (at the station and on the train itself). Otherwise this station is kept pretty clean. When the weather is bad or raining you need to be aware there are no real places to go for shelter. You wanna dress appropriately for it. Otherwise on the plus side there is a Dunkin Donuts about 3 minutes walk from here. Here are some general information about Marta that might be helpful. Marta's Gold Line stops are: 1. Doraville 2. It's about a 15 minutes walk to Lenox mall. Not a bad walk but don't do it in the summertime. (It'll feel like an hour walk! and you'll need a shower by the time you get to your destination.) By bus it's about 15 minutes as well.... There are lots of signs throughout the station letting you know where and what... There are a lot of big hotels nearby including W, Mandarin Oriental, Grand Hyatt and InterContinental. So if you're staying at a nearby hotel and rather not drive to the airport or worse-sit in traffic. Then take Marta. 1034th review 12/25/2017
