My husband who is a bilateral amputee had to take care of it. Very dangerous for him as he cannot feel the ground beneath him. Their excuse was machines breaking down and not being able to find anyone to snow blow. However, they didn't have the decency to call us. We prepaid for the service and also had a severe medical situation that needed nurses and hospice staff to be able to enter our property. They knew that when we hired them. At the end of the year, I sent in more money to cover if it snowed in March/April. The monies left over would be held for this year (2018). I have called them many, many times over the summer, leaving messages and getting no response. Finally, today contact was made. They couldn't wait to tell me they had received no calls from me (basically that I was a liar) and thought it best to end their service. I agreed. I asked for my refund, she said to read my contract, and hung up on me. Apparently, I have lost my $200+ money that was to roll over to this year. I always paid ahead and if any extra work was done, I paid them cash before they left. We often had to go out after them as well because they would not go down to the tar as requested and created a sheet of ice which was very treacherous for all of us who had to maneuver on it. Very disappointed in their lack of service and would not recommend.

They also offered to cut down a few other branches hanging over the power cable to my house. They quoted me $550. I had done business with them a couple of years earlier and even though they previously did a somewhat sloppy job spreading sealant on my driveway, I decided to accept their offer to cut down the tree. At first they said they require a 20% down payment, but when I got my checkbook, they asked me if I could possibly give them $275 because they needed to buy a new chainsaw blade. Since I didn't see how they could do the job without repairing their chainsaw, I gave them $275. They ended up putting me off week after week, making excuses like the truck breaking down, and finally agreeing to give me my money back. As of Dec 6, 2025, it's been over 9 months and they have never done the work or sent me my money back, and today an email I sent them bounced back to me as undeliverable. They're not reliable. I will never trust them again.
