This story begins with scheduling the removal of an old sweet gum tree from my front yard. I needed…read moreto find an irrigation company to come out soon after the tree was removed to activate my system this Spring and make sure there were no issues caused by the tree removal - timing was a big deal. After getting bids from several companies and trying to get on someone's schedule, I was contacted by Reeves Irrigation with an offer to activate my system that worked when I needed it to be accomplished - and for a VERY reasonable price. I had some exchanges with Tyler (the owner) and learned that while this was his second year out on his own, he had previous irrigation experience with other employers. Since I was just after an activation and to make sure the zone where the tree was didn't have any damage, I decided to take a chance on his company - I'm glad I did! He showed up on time, did a full inspection of the system and noted a few heads that were leaking (which I already knew about from my activation last year). I also made him aware of a leaking pipe underground near the curb that would need to be addressed and fixed at some point as well. "Some point" turned out to be during his visit as he had the necessary materials to fix the issue after he exposed the pipe to discover the lateral crack that it had. While he was there, I also had him replace the leaking heads from last year - he even made time to relocate one of the heads from a plant bed to the lawn. When finished, he did a zone inspection again to make sure everything was adjusted and operating correctly while making some minor adjustments to a few heads. Before he left, I discussed getting a different controller that could be operated remotely via WiFi. We discussed various options, and I am having him out again in a couple of weeks to put a new (modern) controller in. In closing let me say that my Hunter irrigation system has been in use for around 20 years or so. Over the past two decades I have used numerous companies to service my irrigation needs. Very few are companies that I wanted to keep as service providers...either due to results, price (or both). Furthermore, when I was lucky enough to find a tech that I felt comfortable with, I was never guaranteed that I would get him again as many switch companies, relocate or just get out of the business altogether. Two of my former favorite irrigation companies are no longer in the business, and it's been a struggle to find a company to replace them...until now. If you have an irrigation system that needs to be activated or serviced, I highly recommend that you give Reeves Irrigation a shout. Like me, I think you will be very happy that you did!

I'll start by saying I paid over $100k for this pool and landscaping…read more Due to the fact that all the other pool companies were booked out 2 years, I asked for recommendations for a pool company who could get me a pool completed by the end of May. I had a friend recommend these guys. Theron, their field manager came out and we discussed exactly what I wanted in detail and he assured me they could do it and he guaranteed it would be done by June 1. I give him a large deposit and expected them to start soon. After being put off for months and months and trying to figure out why, I realized that they don't do gunite pools which is what I specifically said that I wanted and that I did not want a liner pool. Theron was 100% aware of this and took my deposit and gave me the runaround anyway. Because of my impatience and not wanting to have to wait another couple years for a pool, I stuck with them and went with a liner pool. Even with this major change, I STILL got put off to the point that I had to give them a deadline to start the pool or I wanted my deposit back. What do they do? Send a crew over to dig a hole and tear up my yard and driveway, so now technically the pool is started, then wait another month or so before actually starting. Once they did start, they'd work a couple days, then not be seen for a week, they'd come back for a couple days, then be gone 2 more weeks. You get the idea. So come August, when the pool is finally complete, not only is my yard in absolute shambles and my driveway unrecognizable, the actual work they did was absolutely abysmal and it was clear throughout the process, they are very new and inexperienced at building pools and the subcontractors they use are sub par. Of all the issues, and there were a lot, the biggest disappointment was I had asked for a sport pool 4' on the ends and 5' in the middle. What I got was a 3' pool on the ends and 5 in the middle. So basically I have a kiddy pool with a small adult section in the center. This MASSIVE change was never discussed because I would've never agreed. Other issues: -crooked lines on the edges of the pool and in all the cuts in the concrete deck and stamped concrete edge, -the edges of the stamped concrete on the edge of the pool had large chips/chunks missing before I ever used the pool and they did a terrible job staining the concrete, the patio they poured is nowhere near level so now water pools against my house,-they tore off half the base trim and left the other half and poured concrete against the trim and where they tore the trim out, there was a 1 to 1 1/2" gap bettween the patio and the house! Even after I replaced the trim which they were supposed to do, there was a huge gap which I had to repair myself and it obviously looks terrible, - they got concrete all over the side of my house which was painted 2 years prior and left it. I told Theron about it and he said he'd fix it. I gave him paint and told him to test it to make sure it was the right color and instead he painted a 100 sq ft area the wrong color and left it, -the entire back side of my house which again, was painted 2 years prior, is covered to this day in a layer of dust from them tearing out the contcrete and not putting up any protection, yes, I pressure washed it and it's still there, -all 4 corners of the deck are cracked from the corner of the pool to the corner of the deck, 1 is even crumbling, this is after less than 2 months of use, the liner is falling in at least 1 place, -there are many more but I'll wrap it up with the ladder that was hung and was up for literally months crooked as a politician. We're talking 1 side is almost 2" lower than the other. Obviously I complained about this and was very annoyed that I had to even bring it to their attention. They "fixed it". Well here we are this summer, I had a PROFESSIONAL POOL COMPANY come out to open my pool and they hung the ladder and it's crooked just like before so they obviously rigged it up knowing I would have the same issue this year. Although my price went up $10's of thousands of $ without my knowledge during the build, they did refund me maybe 5% of the total but that's because I was prepared to take this to court and they knew they'd lose. *I wasn't going to do this until I was having a very big problem last week that I found out was an extremely simple, do it yourself fix and when I explained to Theron what was going on and just looking for some advice on what to do, he provided zero assistance and didn't even respond. I asked "any advice or ideas" he told me to hire a pool cleaning company. Talk about a slap in the face. Keep in mind, I had told him I'd vacuumed the pool myself every day for the past 7 days. Why do I need a pool cleaning company?! I ended up Googling my problem and fixing it myself in maybe an hour. I text Theron and the owner saying all I want is my ladder fixed. No response from either. So here we are. Treat your customers right and this won't happen
