I really hate that I had this experience but I must rant about it…read more I have family visiting and my sister went into the GameStop that is in front of Kroger and she came out just about in tears. She says that the manager (Samantha) would not sell her game because it had a mature rating. My husband and I go into the store with intentions to buy the game for her. I tell Samantha that we will buy the game for her. She holds up the game and very loudly yells "ARE YOU HER LEGAL GUARDIAN?!" I said I'm her sister and I'm 25 with my ID in my hand. She then yells again and I told my husband to get our mom out of the car. My mom walks in and Samantha didn't ask her for ID or anything. We then proceed to ask her if this was something new in Texas because we have never heard of this policy and my sister has never had this issue in Michigan. Samantha then says that she doesn't know about Michigan but it is a policy in Texas. We proceeded to buy the game and when I got home I called corporate and they were very understanding in the matter and even gave us some points. Now my whole point with this is that we're African American and Samantha is Caucasian. She was very respectful to all the other customers but extremely rude to people that looked like us. We definitely won't be shopping at that location again.

Not only was Luis knowledgeable but he was friendly, efficient & in less than 30 minutes - YES! - less than 30 minutes - my husband was walking out with his new phone all ready to go! But wait! There's more. Today we're back in Huntsville eating some lunch & decide to see what I can upgrade for. I have an iPhone 14 Pro. We walk in & we are greeted by Luis. We tell him what we're wanting & he takes us over to the new phones. He looks at me & says - "honestly, I feel that you would be trading down, or at least sideways at this point. But let me check to make sure." He walks over & speaks to another young man (I'm so sorry I didn't catch his name) who was also very friendly & helpful. He takes my phone, turns off a couple or things that aren't necessary, they check the "life" of my phone & check to see if I had purchased a warranty - which I had. They suggested that I keep track of my battery life & when it got to a certain point I could have my battery replaced under warranty. That my phone cameras were better than the new phones currently out. They treated the customer better than making a sale! We will 100% be going back to them. Thank you Luis!

The lady who was working on the floor said that she had the computer I wanted in stock, but then I heard her talking to the lady behind the desk saying "no sorry, you can't sell the display unless it goes on clearance" so I asked if we could order it and she said something completely contradictory, she goes "you can't order clearance items." The other lady told her it was not a clearance item, so the lady behind the desk says very rudely to the other lady "I don't know which one they want." Then she looked at us and goes "sorry, I'm trying to do something else." I started to get her to order one for us, but I changed my mind after I found out that they didn't have site to store orders. The combination of her attitude and the fact that I would have to have it shipped to my house made me change my mind. And she really couldn't have cared less if I had purchased it from Office Depot or not, her attitude the whole time seemed to be that I was interrupting her with whatever she was working on
