Dr. Hayes is next level in the time she takes to get to know her patients. You don't feel like you are on an assembly line like you do at some offices and I like that she doesn't just willy nilly give out meds. She makes sure she goes over the pros and cons of everything and lets you know if she thinks its a good idea to start them. Very quick to get you on the schedule as well.

I never expected a family doctor to manage those meds, but I also never expected a family medical practice to refuse to see patients who are impacted by mental health issues.

You're joking, right? Dr. Long is one of the best & most caring health professionals I have ever…read moremet. Not many providers trouble to get to know their patients on anything more that a superficial level, but Dr. Long takes plenty of time with me; I feel like she gives me a lot more than the typical doctor-mill practitioner is able to do. If nothing else, the fact that it's sometimes difficult to get an appointment with her at the last minute should clue you in to how good she is. Don't worry, her physician-assistants are just as good, if you need to see someone on short notice.
