Dr. Khulusi is teaching doctor available through MDVIP's program with a limited number of patients. My wife and I have been his patients for well over 10 years. Dr. Khulusi is personally and professionally one of the top doctors in the US, NYC level available in NJ at the Shore for longevity and complex medical condition patients.

From my first visit, he and his staff were friendly, efficient, and very thorough. My father had been a patient of his for years and spoke very highly of him, and I now understand why. Visiting a Urologist can be (especially for men) a bit intimidating, but this practice made the process very simple and unassuming. Although I can't recall her name right now, the woman at the front desk was wonderful as far as scheduling and working with me to ensure my (sometimes difficult) pharmacy filled my needed prescriptions. Especially Susie. I literally walk up to the check in counter and stand there for minutes, with no smile, greeting, or even a "I'll be right with you." You just stand there and wait, while she types a chart. And she ignores you. This has happened to me multiple times. God forbid I need to update my insurance info or have a billing question, you'll really upset her. It was better when there was a sign in sheet so I didn't have to interact with her. The nurses and other technicians are all wonderful. They are kind and caring. So, take this review of what it's worth. The front reception staff is the face of the business. They fail in that area. The other areas are good. I think I'll switch to Marlboro. If they have the same issue then I'll find another allergist. Too many businesses undervalue the idea of decent service. I'm not talking about exceeding expectations, which any business should strive to do, but rather they fail at even being mediocre in this area. If you want patients who happy and continue to frequent you r office, then you should smile once in a while and don't act like you are being bothered by helping me.
