in our first meeting with Dr. Singh, we recognized that he was caring, kind, and did not rush the interview. He listened well as I gave him a brief family history. I subsequently underwent the tests he ordered, culminating in two angiograms. In the second, he inserted two stents. In all of our contacts with Dr. Singh, he has been caring and a good listener. He does not waste time, but he doesn't push us out. The staff, also, from reception to check out, have been friendly and helpful. We have not had a long wait in any visit. We asked about him at TMC; the nurses raved about him. Very positive. And our primary doc' says he is highly regarded in the medical community. I visited Marshall Cardiology for the first time upon referral from my primary care physician. Upon arrival, it was made very clear that all payments and co-pays were due at the time of service. Since my appointment took place on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, insurance companies were closed, and unfortunately, Marshall Cardiology did not verify my insurance ahead of time--something I consider a basic step for any medical office. At the time of service, I was charged $247, which I found unusual given that I had already met my deductible for the year. More recently, I received a call from Marshall Cardiology stating that my insurance ID was invalid ahead of my next appointment. I contacted my insurance provider to clarify, and they confirmed no one from Marshall Cardiology had reached out to verify my insurance coverage. While on the call, I also asked the insurance company to investigate the $247 charge. After verifying my coverage, the insurance company stated that I should not have been charged. We initiated a three-way call with Marshall Cardiology's billing department, where it was confirmed that a credit of $247 was on my account. However, I was informed that I would need to request a refund myself. I find it concerning that the clinic held onto this credit for nearly six months without notifying me. This experience raises awareness for others: if you've been a patient at Marshall Cardiology, you may have a credit on your account that you are unaware of. While $247 may not seem significant to some, it can be a meaningful amount for Medicare or Medicaid patients with limited income. Transparency and proactive communication from a healthcare provider are essential, especially when it involves patient finances. I was charged $100 "no show" fee for an appointment that THEY made for a one-year follow-up. I was never contacted to confirm any appointment. I did find a buried voicemail (I never check voicemails) where they contacted me to tell me that they needed to reschedule my appointment and that I should call to make a new appointment, which I never did. I am NOT paying that ridiculous fee for missing an appointment that I knew nothing about and didn't schedule! Very angry and never going to this doctor's office again! read more

Long story but will try to condense: husband was experiencing issues with shortness of breath, confusion, fatigue and heart discomfort. He passed all testing and was told by this practice he was ok, just continue to take meds. Meds were Lisinopril and statin. I saw it was not improving, in fact I was very concerned and forced my husband to get CT Calcium Score. The score was alarmingly high. I do extensive research on sites such as NIH, and realized this was a red flag for a serious issue. We shared the Calcium score with Marshall TWICE. They told us to IGNORE THE CALCIUM SCORE RESULTS! They do not utilize such a test. For those unaware, this test is now the NO 1 standard in advanced heart care. It immediately reflects irregularities in the heart such as plaque. We obtained a second opinion at the VA in Tucson, a very good facility considering it is VA. They performed their own Calcium score and were alarmed. Husband had a heart catheterization procedure and the Dr administering the procedure stopped it midway and showed my husband the imaging from the test- HE HAD 95% blockage on 3 arteries to the heart. 3 days later he underwent an emergency triple bypass at the Tucson VA and it saved his life. I attempted to talk to someone at Marshall to pass this on so it may save someone else's life, and they didn't care. No one returned my calls or emails. I even walked into their office and no one beyond the desk staff would acknowledge our concern. They don't utilize calcium scores because they are way behind in their medical knowledge. We learned from Dr Raul Roth in Pasadena CA that CT calcium scoring is the premiere required testing to support treatment of heart disease. He helped develop this life saving test. Yet Marshall cardiology does not believe in it. We were told by the desk people at Marshall to IGNORE THE CALCIUM SCORE. My husband is healthy and active again thanks to the Southern AZ VA cardiology team. He received great care. Also Learned some uncommon signs to support heart blockage: scalp psoriasis and loss of hair at base of legs from lack of blood flow. Husband had these signs too. I Do NOT recommend this facility to anyone that values their health care and their life . We are in the process of reporting this practice to the AZ medical board. read more

I was referred to Marshall Cardiology back in Aug 2023 for some issues I was having. I saw Jenna and she had me come in the next day for an Echocardiogram and also to be fitted for a heart monitor to be worn for 2 weeks. One week into wearing the monitor they called me and said I have Afib and prescribed me a beta blocker to take. After I returned the heart monitor and waited for my results, which I never received from them. I called twice for them to contact me and find out what needs to be done next. Well as of today Jan 2024 I still have never heard from them. I do not recommend this company to anyone. They do not seem to care about their patients. They don't even deserve the 1 star that is given. I have sense found another Cardiologist that is willing to take care of me and help me with my heart issues. read more

Dr. Gundeep Singh is an amazing cardiologist and I'm thankful for his knowledge, patience, and guidance on a daily basis. The staff that work in this office are professional, caring and kind. When we needed a new primary care physician, I asked Dr. Singh for recommendations and he led us to the most amazing PCP ever. Excellent professionals run in circles with excellent professionals. OMG! I am an ongoing patient at Marshall Cardiology. I got a text message from my Primary Care Doctor that Marshall sent him a letter, claiming that they attempted to contact me to schedule a follow-up appointment, but that I did not respond to their attempts. So, naturally, I called them. The guy who answered the phone looked up my records and told me that Marshall had NOT contacted me, either by letter, text, or phone, and that they had no plans for a follow-up visit for me. Five minutes later, the same guy at Marshall called back, now claiming that someone in their office had called me three (3) times last month, had left at least one voice mail message, and that I had made no attempt to respond. This, of course, is total BS! I got the specific dates when these alleged phone calls were made, and I checked my phone log: ZERO calls and ZERO voice mail messages from Mashall. I believe they are lying to me, but I will soften it to giving me misinformation. If someone at Marshall attempted to call me on those dates, they certainly mis-dialed. If they did dial my number correctly, then no voice mail messages were left. I like my Doctor at Marshall Cardiology, but the office is totally INCOMPETENT! read more

Great practice until recently, when they stopped requiring the front office staff and patients wear masks. Given that they're treating vulnerable and often elderly patients, this just seems unconscionable in the middle of a pandemic that puts heart patients at particular risk! The front office staff were unwilling to even consider masking when asked, and just said patients needed to "respect their opinion." I didn't know whether or not it was okay to spread a highly contagious heart-damaging illness to cardiology patients matter of opinion, but there you go. read more

Don't get involved here. Many test and no treatment. Told I was at high risk and no solution. After I decided to go elsewhere because of poor treatment- they started calling me for $34. I asked did I miss a co payment ? Told no. I asked then what for ? " I don't know - probably for insurance." I checked with my two insurance carriers; together they paid over 8k . Again hours spent in office testing, NO HELP and they're chasing $34. PURE GREED. read more

We can both recommend Dr. Singh highly, my husband for serious heart issues, and myself for minor, age-related heart problems. Dr. Marshall sold his practice to Dr. Gundeep Singh. They are now in a legal dispute with each other. My wife used Singh one time and he prescribed a medication which would have been dangerous when used in conjunction with another medication she was already taking. Fortunately, the druggist caught that one before harm was done. Transferring my medical records and getting my own copy has been a real challenge. They violate HIPPA requirements and don't seem to care. I have filed complaints with HIPPA as a result. Support staff is awful. Bottom line: Keep looking for a better cardiology practice. read more

This place is amazing! I'm Highly satisfied and Highly recommending Dr. SinghEveryone was so kind, caring, and very thorough! I called yesterday and the receptionist got my referral faxed from my Dr., got insurance authorization, and scheduled my appointment for the next day, all in under 10 mins!! My husband has been with Marshall Cardiology for a few months since our move to Tucson in October 2021. We got a bill for around $161 or thereabouts, the balance that Cigna didn't pay, a couple of months ago and were meaning to start paying on it. Today, he had an appointment for a followup, and the lady at the front desk told him if we didn't pay the full amount right then, my husband could not get service. We didn't have the money so were turned away. My husband went into atrial fibrillation again last week, and that is why he needed to see the doctor. They are more worried about their bottom line than the patients. If something happens to him between now and the time he finds another cardiologist, they should hold onto their insurance because I will be retaliating. We had no problems with our cardiologist in Mesa, AZ. Not until we moved to Tucson did we start having problems. Tricity in Mesa lets us make payment arrangements, as it should be. They charge Cigna enormous amounts and still turn us away for the balance. Caring staff? I hardly think so. read more

While this practice is still under the name Timothy Marshall MD, the cardiologist is Dr. Gundeep Singh. He does not follow up with patients after testing, even if a particular test indicates a life threatening condition. A family member only found out these results from his internist several weeks later because they were sent to him automatically. Even after calling Singh's office several times after leaning the results, there was no return call. This meant finding a new cardiologist, a cardiac surgeon and it was too late. read more
