I've owned and loved an Audi A3 for almost 5 years. My wife and I have decided to change our car and looked at a number of options but really loved the look of the Q3. We visited Audi Exeter last Saturday with the intention of test driving (or booking a test drive). When we were approached by the salesman the first question we were asked, after the usual pleasantries, was whether we were looking to buy privately or as a business car. When we stated that it would be through our business we were quickly informed that he could do nothing for us and we would need to come in during the week. When we explained that we worked Monday-Friday we were given a sarcastic "can't you even answer a phone call or email?". This was shortly followed by an astonishing "there is no benefit to me helping you because it's a business sale".
I love Audi vehicles but the service here was terrible. We were refused a test drive because we had to speak to a business sales person.....not a normal sales person! Sadly for Audi we went and purchased a Lexus who's customer service was outstanding. Interestingly their salesman talked us through both private and business purchases without the need for a specific "business salesperson". Sorry for the poor review guys but we really were so disappointed when we left. read more
