Unfortunately, my overall experience with Marshall & Taylor has been extremely frustrating.
Throughout my representation, there have been repeated administrative and procedural issues, delays, and matters that I have had to personally catch, question, or follow up on. Changes in attorneys and staff have also made continuity difficult and added unnecessary stress to an already stressful legal process.
Billing has been one of the most significant and ongoing concerns. I have encountered multiple billing discrepancies and charges that required clarification or correction, as well as conflicting information regarding amounts requested by the firm. Because of these recurring issues, I have found it necessary to carefully review invoices and communications to make sure the amounts being requested are accurate.
Invoices and requests for additional funds can also come frequently and with an expectation of very rapid payment. My experiences communicating with the billing department have often added to the frustration rather than helped resolve it, and at times I have found the communication unnecessarily abrasive and lacking in professionalism or sensitivity.
There have certainly been individuals within the firm whom I have appreciated working with, but unfortunately, that has not outweighed the recurring administrative, communication, billing, and case-management issues I have experienced overall.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Marshall & Taylor. read more
