This place is a joke. They lowball the crap out of you. I had some unwanted jewelry I thought about…read moreselling and went here because I've seen it advertise on tv. Took in two sets of diamond stud earrings never worn or out of box. One round cut one princess cut at 1/4ct per set and sitting in 14k white gold. I had the receipt and diamond bonds with me when I went in. Told them what I was looking for and they said ok let's look. My receipt from original purchase was $896.14. My offer was 600 for the the two sets. This place wanted to offer only $45.00 for the sets. Are you serious? These are not Walmart diamonds. These are high quality diamonds from one of the biggest jewelry sellers on the island of Manhattan. I understand a business also needs to make a profit off of merchandise but to completely low ball beneath whale turds is actually insulting. I planed on buying a chainsaw from there also but after that crap offer I wouldn't buy anything from here.

This pawn run runs a shady operation. An employee of pawn shop called me saying they had my phone…read more(which had been stolen) but then asked for my password to verify it was mine. It turns out, he wasn't trying to verify it, he was trying to clear out the phone. Once I gave it to them, the employee -- who had promised to hold the phone -- bought the phone, and was fired for stealing within the week. The store refuses to make things right, and the police are on the case. I'm glad this employee was fired, but you can tell the pawn shop supports this kind of behavior - someone taught this employee how to needle the password out of people. And since the store refuses to make things right, they are seemingly continuing to condone this unscrupulous behavior. Pawn shops should do everything in their power not to buy stolen goods, and to make things right when they discover their goods are stolen.
